The process with Snap was really easy actually and they were far and away the most affordable option among known companies for our 6 day trip. The vehicle was new (2024 model) and drove very smooth. Dropping the vehicle off was a breeze and they didnβt appear to be so particular and fussy about minor wear and tear of the vehicle (obviously they did tell us large scratches and dents would be charged but thankfully we didnβt get any of those). Overall I was really happy with the customer service of their representatives and the quality of vehicle we drove at the best price we found.

Greeted by helpful and friendly staff. We booked the car last minute for a 1-way trip. Happy to be able to secure a car for a reasonable price. Car has car-play. Only complain is high mileage car, a lot of scratches on the car, and the car key touch start cant detect the car key occasionally. Other than that, the ride was smooth.

Great experience with car rental and Snap team Snap team was responsive to my pre-rental enquiries. On the day of pick-up, the very friendly driver picked us up from Christchurch Airport quickly and efficiently. At the counter, Munesh was really helpful. We had some issues with Apple CarPlay which he quickly resolved. He also advised on the insurance package to get with Snap (zero excess). Which in the end worked out for us. Unknown to us, during the rental period, somehow the windscreen got a crack and that was picked up by Munesh when we returned the vehicle. Due to the zero excess policy we have, there was no further fee to pay. Overall a great experience and great value too. If we are ever back in NZ, we will rent with Snap again.

Snap Car Rentals NZ β Review We booked with Snap mainly because the price was decent, and on that front it did the job. We got a βpremium hatchβ which ended up being a Toyota Corolla β solid enough car, good on fuel, no complaints about mileage. But the condition of the car was rough. No CarPlay, which is annoying when youβre doing longer drives, but the main issue was the damage. Scratches and scuffs all the way around, and the bumper looked like it was hanging on for dear life. Iβve rented plenty of cars and never had one in this kind of cosmetic state before. It didnβt feel great driving something that looked so beat up, even if it ran fine. On the plus side, it was cheap and economical. On the downside, it definitely wasnβt βcleanβ in terms of presentation, and that takes away from the experience. Overall: Does the job if you just want a cheap runabout and donβt care what it looks like, but donβt expect a pristine rental.

Firstly, fantastic pick up and drop the airport. Pickup our car was quick and easy. We purchased the Simply Better Cover insurance. The first Snap Rep was helpful and friendly. Now the negatives..short version. Ordered an Mitsubishi ASX or equivalent, received a Toyota Yaris Crossover with a chipped windshield and an uncomfortable drivers seat. Recieved another stone chip whilst we had possession but had Simply Better Cover Insurance. Snap customer service person wanted me to fill in an insurance claim over new chip. Thankfully the first Rep we dealt interjected, told us this wasn't necessary for a stone chip. Unfortunately, this experience will make me think twice before using Snap again.

PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER THIS IF YOU HAVING LAST MOMENT PLAN CHANGED. I know staff are not here to understand my problems, they are renting vehicles only, but last moment cancellation of my mover made me come here, staff was unhelpful and very adamant, I arrived at location at 11:45AM it took, more tha one hour to get details and make reservations. Where I was charged from 12 to:5:30 almost 400 bucks, but staff unhelpful ness made me come early to drop truck at 4;30, I got my truck at 12:55. And then I could not drop my all stuff, this is my 4th time coming to Snap uSave always but this time made me think considering other providers.

Friendly and Punctual pickup at Christchurch airport. Checkin was fast and friendly staff. We have a Toyota Highlander AWD and it was very good for our winter travel. I recommend Snap rental.

Highly recommend - rented from the Christchurch Airport branch and for us the whole process end to end was super straight forward with zero fuss. Also found that the pricing was far more competitive than any other rental company in the same location. Shuttle and vehicle pick up was super easy, vehicle was spotless, drop off and shuttle back to the airport was also great. Had to make a change to our booking and staff were super helpful. No complaints with our experience - will definitely be back

I rent a car here, at 14 May 2023 my car was hit by another car (100% other's car fault), already gave the details of the car and the man responsible for that, the guy in the reception said it will take a few days (15 May 2023)..... Until now haven't got any email/update but they charged my credit card for that. Very2 slow customer service.
