A classic fish n chip shop. I bought half a scoop and the regular fish which was elephant. The chips were ok. The fish was good but a little dry in the thickest parts.
The portion was really large! We ordered one set that came with two pieces of fried fish, two servings of chips, and a salad, and it was only $16. My boyfriend and I were so full after eating, but the fish became a bit greasy toward the end, so it felt a little heavy. Other than that, everything was perfect!
Excellent fish and chips, crispy chips and nice golden fish. Great service too, lovely family owned business. Will be back!
This is the only fish abd chip shop we go to. They make amazing burgers. The fish is really nice and chips great. So lucky to have such friendly people offering really good service.

Every time we visit family in CHCH we have our burgers and Fish and Chips from here. They are the best and most reliable takeaways we use. Better than anything in Blenheim or anywhere in else in chch. Can't wait until our next trip down.
Great service but poor product, sadly. The fish batter is too thick and comes out stodgy (second visit, same both times) and the commercial (as opposed to a nice homemade one) spring roll has a doughy wrapper and a lacklustre filling. I was hoping for a better result second time around, but won't be back for a third try.
