    The food was exceptional. The bee pollen butter was AMAZING. I'd have taken a kilo home if I could. The chef must have heard I was unadventurous after asking what one of the ingredients were in the icecream, as a sample was sent out after I'd elected to order something else. That was a nice touch (the icecream sample was delicious too!). We'll be back when the new menus out.

    We are rating the high tea, not the hotel. The atmosphere was excellent, the cutlery was beautiful, and tables has a decent distance between each other to feel intimacy. We were actually the only one at 4pm on friday so it was even better. We had scones and a 3 tiers service. All was good especially for the price we paid compared to some other big cities in europe. We recommend.

    We enjoyed the Winter Escape deal for a girlfriend's overnighter, which included dinner and breakfast and provided incredible value. We relaxed into the charm of this wonderful building, enjoying the decor and genuine hospitality of the staff. The hotel is warm and interesting, making it a unique and enjoyable stay. The restaurant food and drinks aligned with the hotel's presence and were delicious and well-executed. A generous complimentary mini bar simplified our choices, and the refresh of our room while we had dinner was unexpected but added a beautiful touch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend and will be back.

    If you are looking for the best place to stay whilst visiting Christchurch then look no further! Eliza’s manor is an absolute delight. I felt like I was staying in a bohemian dollhouse. A big thank you to the wonderful staff, you are all beautiful and so helpful.

    The house is authentic in style and very well looked after. The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Loved our room and all the little touches. Can’t fault this place. Only complaint would be the noise of the main road outside but it’s location was close to town enough to walk. So if the original 1800‘s owners would have had the foresight to not build on a major road I can’t fault this place. Just lovely and will be back.

    My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it was such a wonderful experience! Why? The little things. The luxurious towels, the well stocked minibar(complimentary), the pillow menu(!) and the decor. The staff were fabulous and went above and beyond to make our stay a special experience. Even packing breakfast for us and having it delivered to our room as we were leaving too early to enjoy the breakfast at the restaurant. Thank you so much guys, it was an unforgettable experience!

    Very nice place! The service was excellent! The room was clean, bed comfortable. We had a very nice time. Decoration is “old”, but well maintained and it’s what keeps the character of the place. The restaurant is good as well! Lamb was awesome! You should definitely stay there if you pass by Christchurch.
