Took our family over for lunch Sunday. We are only customer in the restaurant. Bacon n sausage burnt, some mushroom uncooked, avocado not fresh, so disappointed, cannot imagine how the chef made food like that. Will never come back

Will never come back. The coffee was watery, and the food was average. Can't understand why they cooked mushroom that way. This was my first time there. We waited ten minutes, I had to walk up to the counter just to realize I needed to grab my own menu and order there. We ordered three items. Just to let you know, the place was totally empty, we were the only customer, and it still took 30-40 minutes for our food to come out. Food was so average we couldn't finish them, but there was no way I was taking the leftovers. First of all, the food wasn't worth the effort of packing up. Secondly, the takeaway containers were ridiculously small, maybe 200ml? As soon as I saw the box, I figured, 'Nope, forget it.' The service was non-existent. I had to order myself, grab my own water, and the staff (maybe scrolling her phone) didn't check on us even once after she dropped off the plates. I totally regret going, especially brought my family. It was a complete waste of cash."

Totally uncooked scones. Mine was cheese, took a small wedge out to try but it was SO doughy, it was inedible. I noticed on the next table (took a photo) that they had left their date scone, also looked totally under baked. I feedback to the staff who removed it however I had to follow-up & ask for a refund. Was disappointed as the last time we had been there it was good

This is not the Two Birds whole / raw food eatery of the past, but under new ownership, something completely new. I must admit that when I saw there was no cabinet food, I was disappointed, but, being Sunday and needing a relaxing place to eat, this was ideal and they still have their delightful, sheltered courtyard. We ordered the Humble Bowl (not a bowl), a tasty vegetarian mixed plate with satay sauce, and the Crispy Chicken Burger with fries. Both were amazing! Highly recommend giving this place another try. We will be back. Also, you get 4 hours of free parking at Clyde Centre if you register your number plate.

I had coffee and it was fine. Also, loved the atmosphere. Being able to sit in the sun sheltered and warm outside in a beautiful garden was great. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I'll be back :) btw: great healthy options in the menu! Unusual these days. Like rice raps and salads. Huge tick

Loved the Vegan Breaky options - best we have had so far in NZ. Friendly staff and some warm spots to sit in the morning with sun coming through the windows.

I only had a coffee here on this day and it was perfectly made. I love the quirky vibe, just like a classic kiwi pub, but a cafe! Iykyk. Good range of seating options including the outdoor area, tastefull and modern decor. Doesn't quite do itself justice on the outside front entrance, makes it a nice spot for those in the know or those out and about looking for something new. Lovely cabinet food range as well as classic brunch style menu. Note to self: a great place to bring your dad....he could likely have brunch and a Waikato!

Disappointing Mother’s Day breakfast at Two Birds this morning. Food took over an hour to arrive at our table, even though it wasn’t overly busy with plenty of empty tables. Coffee took a very long time to arrive too. Food standard wasn’t what it used to be, we all walked away feeling pretty ripped off. We paid $100 for 2 adult meals & 2 kids meals. The creamy mushrooms were really average, tiny bit of bacon with it. Was served on a really small plate too so was hard to eat without making a huge mess. Was absolutely freezing inside and all doors were left open so our children were shivering cold inside. Would be great if there had been some heating other than the fireplace. Staff were friendly to deal with but everything else was a letdown. It would be great if they offered table service too, instead of having to go up to order. We will book elsewhere next time.

Hamilton's best kept secret. I've visited a couple of times now, If you eat with your eyes...check out the cabinet food. Kids menu is great too. Nice table layout inside and outside. Smoothie bowls are not to be overlooked. I have 2 fussy pre-teens who loved this place. Parking, wheelchair and pram friendly Thumbs up if you find this helpful
