My son's order from here alot. Reasonable priced when they say 10 minutes it will be ready it is. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Roast Plus is absolutely amazing! Their Medium Roast Beef is not only delicious but also generous enough to feed both my partner and me. The beef is tender and flavorful, and the sides are just perfect, kumara, potato, peas, and rich gravy that ties everything together beautifully. A hearty, satisfying meal that feels like a home-cooked roast. Highly recommend!
We were first in line for a sensational lunch time roast pork and gravy sandwich - it comes in a delicious roll with roast potatoes and a strip of crackling. So good. Wonderfully friendly staff and quick service.
***Edit after being out of Hamilton for 9 months: My First time back at Roast Plus and I wasn't disappointed. Their roasts still top notch. My pork roast was just perfect - 10/10! Left feeling very happy and satisfied after yet another mouth-watering roast meal. Well done team for keeping the standards and not skimping like so many other restaurants (applause!) ------A mate and I decided to make this our weekly roast night after discovering how good this place was. In fact I would make it bi-weekly if I could! Staff are super friendly. Very generous portions and no probs asking for extra gravy :) The first time I got the large pork roast but I think I was a little too excited and over-ate and got indigestion lol. So the medium is good enough for me (still a generous portion). I really look forward to a big plate of roast every week. Gotta be the best roast in town. Cheers guys, great team!
Ordered roast chicken, asked for extra gravy, was charged an extra $1.00 for one extra spoonful. (I watched the meal before me get 2 spoons of gravy, I got 3) I know this isn't a lot, but its principal. Also the chicken is only one size, he went out back and came back with one chicken leg. When I got home and removed the meat from the bone, there was scarcely anything there, about half a cup of meat as per photo. Just stingy, penny pinching by owners. Won't go back.
This was absolutely foul. They didn’t follow the order and gave us things we especially asked not to have, food was cold and stale. Absolutely disgusting and not cheap! For that price you would hope for edible food!
Tasteless food. Spear it on gravy, meat and vegetables for a large. Ngaruawahia is the best roast meals I've been too in the Waikato. Food is delicious tasty gravy and veg on point, plenty meat. Even though we are in these hardships with food prices, I'm glad to pay abit more to get quality and quantity.
If you are undecided whether to have Kiwi roast, Chinese dumplings or Korean spicy chicken nibbles, this is the place that’s worth visit. They did those three items really well and I didn’t get a chance to take photos of our food before they were gone. I will go again.
