    I took my e-scooter to the Electric Bikes NZ to have the puncture repared. Initially I was a little confused as I did phone the store and they said they did not do e-scooter repairs. I then phoned Evo cycle and was I was given a name and number to call and the young mans business partner he would call me with a quote. Two days later I received a text saying to bring my e-scooter to 43 Massey Street which turned out to be Electric Bikes NZ. The same phone number that I called and was told they do not do e-scooters. On entering the shop I mentioned to the shop assistant I was a little confused as I was told they didn't do any scooters and then I got a message to say to bring it in. The shop assistant quote said 'not many people like working on e-scooters'. I find the shop is very cycle orientated and not very receptive to other areas for example e-scooters. I have a genuine reason for riding an e scooter rather than an ebike. I had an injury a number of years ago from a motor cycle accident car not giving way to motorbike. I find the motion of the pedals hurts my left leg. Prior to my motorcycle accident I used to cycle everywhere round Hamilton. The four-star rating is a thank you however for repairing my puncture quickly and at a reasonable price. For non-cycling customers your customer service needs to improve as I did not feel very welcome. Bad luck struck again and I got a puncture the following week again but this time I took my e-scooter back to where I purchased it in Auckland at Stormrides as I did not feel comfortable going back to Electric Bikes NZ. While up there I did an unexpected $599 purchase with them.

    Came in just to browse e-scooters, had a talk with staff and they took the time to listen to what my needs were. I mentioned I was more interested in e-bikes but wasn't sure I could afford one. Dynell went through a few different options with me and pointed out a great bargain opportunity on an e-bike, offered me a test-ride and then helped me with making a purchase. The one-on-one help really influenced my decision to buy; recommend the store!

    The service I received was the best I have ever had from any bike store in NZ, the travel over to Hamilton from Taupo is absolutely worth it, even just for the great service. I found the service was professional, informed and friendly. I had no issue at all to take a bike out for a test ride. This is my first e-bike and I've taken it out for a few trail rides now and I am 100% satisfied with the quality and performance of this e-bike

    The team and Electrify.NZ Hamilton were so friendly and helpful. From showing us how to use the bikes to allowing us a free 24 hour test run of the bike we were interested in. Dynell, was great assisting us in the bike that we wanted to purchase and threw in a few extra items and customised adjustments for us which made the value much more worthwhile. Overall service was superb and we will be back again when our free service is up! Keep up the great work :)

    These guys stayed open late today so I could hire an eBike to zip out to see the Hamilton Gardens. Really fast, streamlined pick up process and Dan accompanied me to show the turn off to get onto the river trail. Cool bike! Free water and a pannier if accessories (bike lock etc). Made a quick trip (at the end of a conference day) possible, which has made my stay in Hamilton worthwhile. The eBikes for hire are step thru Dutch style bikes, so I could jump on without changing clothes etc. Totally recommend this company and the lovely owners!
