   Absolutely hands down the best fish and chips around. This is a proper family-run shop, run by a hardworking middle-aged guy and his elderly parents, and you can feel the care that goes into every order. The fish is always fresh, perfectly cooked, and the chips are consistently golden and crispy not greasy, just spot on every time. It’s places like this that deserve more support. Honest food, fair prices, and genuinely lovely people. If you’re thinking of fish and chips, don’t go past this spot support local, you won’t regret it.

   Ordered battered sausage and chips. The chips were beautiful and crispy, not much oil leakage from them into the paper. The sausage batter was nice and crispy and tasted amazing. The sausage was just your standard chippy sausage. Great value and a delicious meal.

   A takeaway of the kind that I remember in my youth. We ordered a corn fritter and a mussel fritter. Unfortunately we'd already had dinner elsewhere so couldn't indulge. They were HUGE, crispy & well cooked. I especially liked that they made sure they were well drained before wrapping them. Perhaps my only criticism is that my corn fritter seemed a little doughy. I'd certainly have no hesitation in ordering from here again if I passed thru in the future. I'd suspect that their hamburgers would be the real deal too.
