I ultimately didn't purchase this time as a different vehicle served my needs better, but my salesperson, Cona Cane, deserves an 11/10. Exactly the sort of person I would be happy to give my money to when I make my next purchase. I feel confident in recommending this dealer to other people.

Do not trade with this dealer - They overcharge for services and have no "loyalty" to New vehicle purchasers. Even though I had no dealings with Rosetown Motors, they followed through the exact same concerns and points I had mentioned to Ebbett Motors and charged me only a 3rd of what Ebbett holden Hamilton wanted me to pay - even though I had purchased the vehicle brand new through Ebbett Hamilton.Ebbet Hamilton only fobbed me off and told me that "If I had been a loyal customer"(with servicing with them) - that they may of been able to help. They went as far to say "We are no longer the holden dealer so can't help" - which I challenged being the seller of the vehicle to me. Yes - the issue I had was out of warrenty - but is was a well known fault with the trailblazer. I had this fault already once before just under warranty and I felt they were deceptive as they said then new part had only a 3 month warranty. When it faulted again, I thought I had no coverage but to find out years later that this should still of be covered and that reputable holden dealers had been replacing out of warranty cycle for years without charge to the purchaser. Why would you get a service with Ebbet when they sent me a bill to rectify the Screen issue for $979.10 vs good customer service and followup by Rosetown Motors who only charged me $356 whom I had never dealt with before. Rosetown Motors charged me a 1/3 of the cost to fix my Holden Boo to Ebbet Hamilton Brand and a BIG THUMBS UP FOR ROSETOWN MOTORS IN TE AWAMUTU! I only gave 1 star because I was forced to. It should have been Zilch! In regard to your reply, I am now aware multiple other "ex-holden" dealers had been replacing the screens often at no charge out of warranty. I would of approached you had I been made aware of this ongoing issue. You made no attempt to contact holden who are still supporting the Brand. The reality is that, I would of incurred no cost at all had I approached you earlier if your service standard achieved the same level as your neighbours. Also, It does not account for the fact you still wanted to charge me $976 to resolve whereas a dealer whom I've have no contact with prior asked me to cover 1/2 the cost - ie $356 to replace. That does not add up mathematically and concerns me as to your servicing charges. I mentioned this to my mechanic yesterday who has changed my water pump and cam belt. He confirmed similar issues of attempted overcharging for services not required - eg a fuel pump modulator (with programming charges of near $200 when its a plug and play component and time to replace - hours in excess of actual time. He offered to demonstrate the actual time taken he told me and that your business let it go when called out about your charges. Something is systemically wrong with your business service model. If you wanted to do right, then you would credit me the $356 which in all likelihood would not of been incurred by me had your business been clear in issues and coverage options years ago.

The team is knowledgeable and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Lisa is positive, supportive and really gets to know your needs. Adam was also amazing. Everytime I've booked online for a service I've turned up (after receiving booking confirmation email) and I've been told there's no record of my booking. Then after I finally got a service I needed a radiator replacement, booked in person this time. Turned up a week later bright and early only to be told they never ordered the part...ok sweet... we'll order it and book you in next week. Next week rolls around, turn up...oh wait, part never arrived, go home, we'll call you when it does. Book it in over the phone once parts turned up, make my way there, no record of loan car being booked. I live on the other side of Hamilton, I work nightshifts. 4 weeks of sacrificed sleep for nothing. I've never been one to complain but 4 weeks of 1 hour of sleep, driving through morning traffic only to be turned away each time is emotionally wrecking.

If there's one thing I give Ebbett Holden is consistency. Consistently disappointing. It's fantastic knowing you will get poor communication and poor customer service every single time you have to deal with them. There's no point asking the customer what time they need their car by if you're never going to meet those expectations. Also no call to say you're not going to meet that timeframe is just perfect. I love not knowing what's going on. Bonus of when you pick your car up in the morning the windscreen is frozen over with no care after they hand you back the keys. The previous time management said "oh so sorry about the run around, will clean the car next time" still not done. Who knows maybe we have a file note that says "do the worst you possibly can".

We don't take our vehicle to be fixed or serviced here anymore as they didn't pick up a common fault that this model had been experiencing, telling us there was nothing wrong with it. We took it elsewhere and it was immediately diagnosed and repaired with Holden covering the cost. Services were also way more expensive than we can get them done elsewhere. The not being able to talk directly to a mechanic was also an issue for us as the girl taking notes didn't take the details very well

I am grateful and thankful for the fact that I called them some weeks ago to get my car inspected. There is an online option to book services, so that's handy and useful. It even displays how much it would cost and which service you'd like. Ended up being majorly busy but the mechanic said that I could bring it in to be inspected. Expected cost was about $150, if it was longer they would call me and check it it's okay. I also feel sorry for the receptionist because it was clear she was stressed and frustrated at having such an already packed day, and then adding my car in as well Didn't get a call, invoice and information wasn't documented as I went in the office about 15mins before it closed. Had I not arrived I wouldn't have gotten it until the next day or so Not bad, but not the best either
