Best Indian takeaway food I have ever tasted. Highly recommend the Bengali fish curry, yellow dahl and chili mushrooms. So delicious that I order meals regularly on a Sunday evening as part of my weekly meal prepping routine! This week I received a yummy mango lassi as a free bonus with my order. Ingredients are fresh and made to suit your taste and dietary needs (eg no flour on the chili mushrooms).
Best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Don’t live locally so a bit of a drive but worth it every time. Recently was too lazy to drive out to Burwood and went back to my local - safe to say I’ll never make that mistake again. Service is great - they’re super friendly. Food is always piping hot and seems to be made to order vs kept in warmers like other places. Recommend the Samosa’s & Rogan. Butter chicken is also the best I’ve had. Super good option when entertaining - everyone loves this food!
Some of the best curry I've had along with some very friendly service! Definitely intend to visit again when I get the urge for takeout.

Tried it for the first time due to the good reviews and it did not disappoint! The cheese & garlic naan bread was the best one I've had in Christchurch so far, and the curry main is super good too. Will definitely be coming back to try different curries!
Roti Mahal Burwood is so awesome. Love this Indian take away option, wouldn't go anywhere else. Butter chicken is so creamy & delicious. Naan bread is the best we've had, they do stuffed cheese & garlic, soft and fresh made. Great flavours and good portions.
Food was awesome, great authentic Calcutta food. The samosas are to die for. The curry mains we had was awesome very tasty. Serviced with a smile and he gave us complimentary pakoras and they were the best I've had in a long time crunchy and soft on the inside with the smack in the face of spices.
