   If you’re craving next-level comfort food in a relaxed and welcoming setting, Winner Winner Grey St is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere with a modern yet casual vibe. The rustic wooden tables, friendly staff, and the tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked chicken immediately set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The menu at Winner Winner is packed with mouthwatering options, and I was beyond impressed with everything we ordered. Their free-range fire-roasted chicken is the star of the show—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with that irresistible smoky char. You can choose from different rubs and sauces, but honestly, even on its own, it’s that good! Another standout was their crispy buttermilk fried chicken, which had the perfect crunch on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside. The seasoning was spot on, and when paired with their house-made dipping sauces, it was pure bliss. We also tried their loaded fries, and let me tell you, they are not to be missed! Smothered in cheese, smoky bacon, and their signature sauce, every bite was indulgent and packed with flavor. If you’re a fan of fries done right, this is the place to be. For sides, we couldn’t resist the mac & cheese—creamy, cheesy, and baked to golden perfection. It was the ultimate comfort food and paired beautifully with the chicken. The slaw was fresh and tangy, providing the perfect contrast to the richness of the other dishes. Winner Winner also offers a great selection of drinks, including craft sodas and milkshakes that are as nostalgic as they are delicious. We wrapped up our meal with their banana brûlée pie, and wow—it was the perfect sweet ending! The caramelized top had just the right amount of crunch, and the filling was smooth and creamy. Beyond the incredible food, the service here is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to make recommendations. The casual yet stylish setting makes it a great spot for everything from a quick bite to a relaxed dinner with friends or family. Plus, the open kitchen concept lets you see the magic happening behind the scenes, adding to the overall experience.

   The food at Winner winner is always amazing. The best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had came from the one in Wellington this one is still top 5 though. The pies were also very tasty sadly they only had 2 at this location.

   Winner Winner is home to the best chicken I have ever tasted. The white bbq chicken and bacon burger is the most indulgent and rich burger that is worth skipping some meals to not feel so guilty for eating. Our server at the counter was fantastic and bubbly, she definitely created an inviting atmosphere and enhanced our experience. Best burgers, best staff. Come to Winner Winner!

   I have given winnerwinner multiple opportunities to resolve this issue privately. I have phoned them, Facebook messaged them and emailed them. No one from winnerwinner has had the decency to respond to me. 2 weeks ago I became sick after I was given a raw chicken burger. I find it absolutely abhorrent that they have not responded to me. I would recommend that no one eat here. Photo attached - showing clearly raw chicken.

   Fries were nice, and fried chicken was okay. Burger wasn’t good. Bun was too soft and soaked in the grease. Extremely greasy chicken. I don’t usually feel bad after fast food but this did make me feel awful after

   Just dined in here. I was a little concerned at the cost of the burger (white BBQ chicken burger) at first but when it come out I was pleasantly surprised! I squashed it down and took a bite and it was very flavoursome. It doesn’t look it but the burger is quite spicy, but not to the point where you get the spicy sweats; I loved it - you’ll need a drink to go with it. The chicken coating was nice and the burger bun soft. Everything felt fresh! We tried three of the desserts. The sugar cake (not pictured) tasted like a very high end strawberry cheesecake. The Banoffee pie was good, though it did need a little more banana on it, with the caramel base tasting like it was made from condensed milk (which is how it should be done!). Both desserts were easy to slice with a fork, which made them easy to eat. The s’mores tasted like a chocolate brownie with the top looking like pavlova. The chocolate being quite dense made it hard to slice with the fork. In my opinion, I didn’t like this one as much as the first two. All three desserts were not sickly sweet, they balanced very well so all should be able to enjoy it. The staff were polite and friendly and we got our food in under 15 minutes (although it was not busy). I am looking forward to dining here again, next time for dinner!
