Have been getting the loaded fries for a long time now. Always 10/10. Perfectly crunchy golden fries, generous amounts of cheese and bacon. But the last 4 times Iβve visited, not the same. Chips taste like leftover chips from a fish and chip store, laughable amounts of toppings. Every time I visit I was happily giving them my money for this meal but as of now I will no longer be visiting as they last 4 times including now I have been let down and regret paying for them. Hopefully someone sees this and takes a look at the drop in quality, and to fix it.

We've been dining here most Thursday evenings for the steak special. We've tried other places but they don't really match up in quality, service or atmosphere. They are always relaxed and happy and it's a pleasure to visit. We've been loyal customers with 3 hand overs and changes in management over many years and never disappointed.

Light evening meal sizes were more generous than when we came a few years ago. Much better :-) Dry aged beef burger was very tasty.

Really good food there just the service was a bitβ¦ Had to wait and ask for a table even there wasnβt many customers (two staff were just standing and watchingβ¦)

It was my first time dining here. The service was great. I ordered fish and it tasted fine, but not somethingexceptional. It was more like a pub food. It seems quite a big establishment but restaurants portion was almost empty, maybe it was a bit late when we had dinner, 8 pm. Their pub part was crowded though. Overall, environment was great.

The meat is good! I had beef sausages, nice flavour and perfectly cooked. I will be coming back to try more aged beef. Relaxed staff with attentive service.

Very accommodating. We booked initially for 15 for lunch, we called a couple of hours ahead to up it to close to 30. The food took a while to come out but we really appreciate that with we bought a big crowd in. We are REALLY appreciative that the staff were constantly coming up and asking if we want more drinks, hardly anywhere actually does that anymore! The food was bang on! Absolutely amazing. Perfect 10 from us all.

Fantastic food. Good portions. Good service and a nice setting . Pricing reasonable for the quality of food, which was excellent.

It's like a sports bar/bistro where you can have nice dinner kinda food with your family or just alone or with your mates having a couple of drinks watching a rugby match. We had the pork belly sides and the aged steak which was ok. But the cider I had was delicious!

Highly recommend if you are staying in Lincoln. The dry aged bone in ribeye was amazing for the price. The service was great, as was the atmosphere.
