Went a couple of times to the falls during my stay here. Looked even better on the day after heavy rainfall as there was much more water falling. I also managed to get behind the waterfall where it was very peaceful and scenic.

Nature Short drive out of Raglan and totally worth the detour... Parking is tiny (like 5–6 cars max) so either come early or rock up late like a ninja... The walk from the carpark is super easy around 10 minutes and you’ll follow a peaceful little river that leads straight to this massive waterfall drop... The falls really live up to the name… long, straight, smooth stream dropping like a bridal veil in slow motion... You get multiple viewpoints too top, middle, bottom so choose your angle and snap your shot like a pro... There is a toilet there… not the greatest but if nature calls,it’ll save your life... Overall: quick walk, big payoff absolute must stop for the Raglan trip... Smoothest Drop in Raglan.. Logan was here... Came without expectation and left Happier than i tought i would..

Impressive waterfall! There is a small parking lot and then a beautiful walk through a rainforest to take you to the top of the waterfall in less than 10 minutes. The views are gorgeous! There are wooden steps to a middle viewpoint and then to the bottom. We loved it! Come on a cloudy day to appreciate the colors!

Bridal Veil Falls, also known as WairΔ“inga, is a stunning natural attraction located just 20 kilometres from Raglan Beach, making it an ideal addition to your travel itinerary if you're exploring the area. Surrounded by lush native bush, the falls drop an impressive 55 metres over a basalt cliff into a tranquil pool below, creating a breathtaking and peaceful setting. The site is free to visit, making it accessible for everyone. However, please note that dogs are not permitted, and personal promotions or campaigns are also restricted to preserve the natural beauty and serenity of the area. The walking track to the falls is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels, with several viewing platforms offering different perspectives of the waterfallβ€”from above, mid-level, and base. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply looking for a quiet escape, Bridal Veil Falls offers a serene experience away from busy city life. The sound of cascading water and the surrounding greenery create a calming atmosphere perfect for relaxation or reflection.

Easy walk to the top of the falls. Lovely stone path running beside a stream & meandering through bush. If you choose to continue to the bottom, it starts as a gentle slope before you get to the 261 stairs - there'd been rain the previous day & was large puddles on most steps needing to be avoided, be careful the wooden step surround is very slippery and the bush side muddy! The view improved at every viewing platform and made us continue downward to the best view at the bottom. Unfortunately each seat was wet due to lack of sunlight on them & I felt the return trip up the stairs for 3-4 days afterwards! Note: I'm not very fit - obviously.!!

This was simply nature giving its most spectacular performance. Free to access with easy parking, we visited in low season though.

Very nice weekend trip ,, easy walk down to the bottom of the falls,, climbing back on to the top of the falls through the stairs are not that difficult if you are moderately fit… the falls is very beautiful & calm in nature that will attract you,, you can spend time there on the bench,, will not recommend to use the toilet though, because of less maintenance & dirty.

Nice 35 mins drive from Hamilton, and beautiful little forest walk.. hard to believe that the tiny little stream that you see when you start your walk, turns into such a majestic waterfall.. easy access, but the stairs might get slippery when wet..

Great large spaces to capture the view. Wear non slip shoes on rainy days. The wood and clay get slippery. 20 min round walk. Easy to navigate with good walkways. Stunning views. Such a nice bush walk as well. Plenty of signs.
