We visited Melton Estate for Sunday lunch. There was a wedding finishing in the main dining area and I think this had put the kitchen under pressure as our fish main wasn't what was described on the menu. Other than that my Lamb main was very good (except the Potatoes which were kind of like Baked Potatoes). The vegetable sides were perfectly cooked but lacked imagination. The Beef kebab and Prawn entrees were very good. Just the fish main was average and led me to rate 3 stars rather than 5 stars. Great service and free parking at the door.
Throughly enjoyed our meal for a family birthday. Very impressed by the number of gluten free options on the menu, including all the desserts. The birthday girl enjoyed the wine tasting and bought a couple of bottles to take home. Keen to come back again and try some of the other choices on the menu.
My girlfriends and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and had the wine tasting with the Melton Antipasti Platter. The nibbles were delicious and plentiful, and extra crostini was added without needing to ask. Our hosts were wonderful to chat with, and the grounds were beautiful. The wine is top quality and we left with a bottle or 2 each!
Gorgeous venue for our wedding! We loved that the covered pavilion meant we didn't have to worry about the weather. Tracy, the wedding coordinator, made sure everything went smoothly and that we had everything planned. Definitely recommend!
Great location for our wedding. The vines looked gorgeous in early April. Tracy was amazing and kept everything running like clockwork. Their wine 'Summer Love' is delicious and we highly reccommend it. Received many comments from the guests on how amazing the food was as well.
Had our wedding here under their 'boutique' package. Absolutely beautiful venue -even in the rain! Tracy and team made everything a breeze, she had great recommendations and was able to sort photographer, celebrant, cake, food, flowers etc (the list really does go on) I highly recommend having your event here. So so grateful.
We had a lovely lunch: the food was so so good. I had the halo salad and my friend had the prawns - delicious. Then we shared a dessert platter. Everything was so great. Great staff. Fabulous food. Was a lovely afternoon
Wow such an awesome place for a wedding. Tracy is so organised, and very reassuring when anything occurs. She worked so well with all our other vendors, and she and Tania Johnson-Scott our celebrant, were the perfect team to give us a relaxed, fun, and family orientated day. The food was delicious. Summer Love is the best wine ever, and the indoor outdoor flow makes for a venue that suits everyone young and old. I highly recommend Tracy and team, they are amazing.
