This was the worst experience ever, staff were so rude and unfriendly! Made us sit at a dirty table. The food was dreadful. The best part was leaving.
Had to wait an hour for our meal. When it arrived steak was chewy chips cold. Schnitzel coating just came away. All in all very disappointed won't be back in a hurry
My partner and I had a meal (dine in) tonight and it took over an hour for a fish and chips with salad and pork ribs with wedges. They are not busy as it was only 1 table aside from us and 2 couples in the bar.
Delicious meal! Fresh bartered blue cod and amazingly well cooked chippies, all the food our table had was delicious and they served a table of 6 all at the same time. Our server was great, personable and accommodating and the bar staff was great too. Great price for what you're getting, $30 for two big filets of blue cod and a great side of chips (skipped the salad)
Nice place to have a get together with old work mates. Food was great.
Had a great night with my gfs here...pity I had to work the next day so went home early! Good place to chill with friends...drank some lovely white wine. Prices were reasonable Bought fries which were perfectly cooked. Rugby was on so lots of cheering by patrons...lovely country pub...recommend to all
Our bus trip was welcomed wholeheartedly to this pub when 30 of us descended there unexpectedly...the atmosphere was awesome and friendly...the beer was cheap, so we enjoyed several hours here...would definitely recommend the west Melton tavern for an arvo of convivial drinking...
Service was amazing initially for entree and servings good portion. Mains took so long we left. Such a disappointment.
Great little pub. Well priced food, and you get a great amount too. Well worth a visit
