To start off, Boo's is generally wonderful and one of my favourite bars in the city. The atmosphere, the drinks, the music is ALL AMAZING. HOWEVER there is one bartender there who I have had multiple awful experiences with and I need this to get the attention of management. The short skinny guy with the manbun (he told me his name was Eli) is ruining the wholesome respectful atmosphere of an otherwise great place. About a month ago (Nov 9), I was there for a private event. Towards the end of the night when people had had quite a few drinks, this bartender (who was on shift) would periodically come out to the outdoor smoking area, and was extremely handsy with a lot of the girls. The girls were clearly intoxicated and not really in a position to say no to him, but were all very creeped out about the next day when we talked about it. Not cool for any guy to do, and definitely not okay for someone to do who works at the establishment. Last night, I (F) was there with my girlfriend and this same bartender saw us while we were playing pool and said some very HOMOPHOBIC things, insisting to play a round of pool with us, taking photos with a camera, and generally being very creepy. It took a while for him to leave us alone and he freaked out when me and my girlfriend kissed. Boo's is wonderful and most of the staff are lovely. I love the open mic nights and hospo night but TLDR, there is one bartender who groped my drunk friends and sent a homophobic tirade at me and my gf. Hope this can get sorted cuz he actually made us feel unsafe at some points.

We shared sliders and loaded shoestring fries. We sent the fries back as they were cold. Tasty but should’ve been hot when served. Chicken sliders were lukewarm but we were hungry so ate them. The atmosphere was excellent as was the music. Barman was also excellent, just a shame about the food

What a cool little bar. Went there on a Friday night. Staff were very attentive and friendly. There was an amazing selection of drinks especially the whiskeys, of course. And whilst we did not eat as we were dining elsewhere, the menu looked great. Nice comfy booths to sit in. They have a pool table also which we will go back and make use of another time. Only thing that was unexpected was the steep flight of stairs. Not a worry for us but may be for others.

You absolutely can not beat the vibe on Open Mic Wednesdays! Hours and hours of live music and good times, great food and drink for fuel, and the staff are super lovely, friendly and helpful. You just can’t beat it!

Bravo Boo's ! 3 rules I have in cooking US Southern Food influenced by French colonization (aka Creole/Cajun): 1) Don't over/under cook the rice 2) Don't overcook the shrimp 3) Don't pour Old Bay or Zatarains to cover up sins or bad ingredients. In the 30+ years that I've been away from Mobile & New Orleans, I can count on one hand the "decent" home food I've had north of I-10. Not only did you shine at my rules, you upped the ante with delicious local mussels. It was a treat for this Bama boy that's far from his birth home.

Helpful staff, delicious food & drink at reasonable prices, & an ambient atmosphere makes for an excellent dining experience! Boo's appears a bit hidden from the street, but through a gate & up a small flight of stairs is a hidden gem in this city. We arrived right as it opened & were served hot food within 15mins of ordering. Great experience that I highly recommend.

Great spot; wood, leather, whiskey, craft beer and good food. Pool table on one side, tables and booths on the other with eclectic pendant lighting and antique mirrors. I enjoyed the sliders and a beer.

Everything was perfect. Kind staffs, sweet vocal performance and mood. But should try whiskey than any other things. We’ve got quesadilla, mac and cheese, and some potatoes and every dish was amazingly good. Wanna go again if I could someday

After looking at first table app found this wee place... What an absolute gem! Thoroughly recommend! Atmosphere very inviting, music playing easy in the background. Food is delicious. Had the fried cauliflower recommended by our very friendly and knowledgeable server Emily omg it was so good. Quite reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
