Just moved to the area and thought I would give them a go. Disappointed and won't be going back. Paid for garlic butter chips and got plain chips, not even salted and certainly no garlic butter. Snapper was awful and smelt old. Hot dogs tasted unusual.

Actually really rude, tried to pass blame, insisted they took a picture to 'prove' they had supplied the full order but wouldn't show the photo. Paid quite a lot for very little, and less since we didn't get the full order anyway. Food wasn't great either, the fish was not fresh and so only took a bite, the rest was soggy.

My favourite fish and chip shop to go to in Hamilton! always go for crumbed fish and chips, the hot dogs and nuggets are top tier too! Finally got an updated picture of the menu so thought iβd chuck it up! Chips are hit or miss sometimes but generally everything is well priced! Would recommend.

The prices don't reflect the portion size - a scoop of chips is tiny and expensive. Food is reasonable quality though

got these on uber eats absolutely horrible the only decent tasting thing was the chips. the cheesy wheezy had hardly any cheese and heaps of mayo. everything was cold, oily, soggy and tasted gross except the fish. super expensive compared to others and totally not worth wasting your money on.

I'm glad to hear that others have had better experiences. In my opinion they are cheap and decent food, that's it. If you don't mind having indigestion, a wicked stomach, and just feeling bloated and fat from all the fried fatty foods that was just eaten then you are right at home. Literally everything was battered and fried. If I were to guess, if I had ordered a burger it would be grilled then lathered in batter for the bun then fried. The wontons we had no idea on whether it was chicken or pork it had no flavor of any kind, it was just a texture in the mouth. The fries (chips) were extremely salty. The broccoli cheese was salty and the taste was indescribable, let's just say it wasn't broccoli cheese. The hot dog was a corn dog not a hot dog and it used the same batter as everything else and fried. The taste of the "hot dog" was weird. I didn't like it one bit. I don't know how to describe the flavor. I just didnt like it, made my stomach hurt. The seafood like fish, oysters, mussels, prawns, etc were greasy and salty but tolerable to eat. The person who works there is very friendly and had great customer service skills. Overall, if you want fried seafood that is acceptable then this is the place for you. If you want anything other than seafood, just don't. You will regret it afterwards.

The guys here are always super friendly and the food is good too. We usually get snapper pieces and they always taste fresh. We get a scoop of kumara chips too. They are a little pricier than potato chips but not compared to other kumara chip pricing. Their potato fritters are nice, generally medium to small discs. The pork wontons are pretty good too.

My favourite fish n chip shop. Fresh fish, not too greasy, lots of tasty options. Love the jalapeΓ±o bites and broccoli bites.
