So many awesome reviews and photos.. this place is really popular, so let me add my 50 cents in the kitty. If you are near Hamilton, NZ, and got cravings for some spice and symphony of taste on the tip of your tongue, then you shall find it at Bala's. - Staff is friendly and accommodating. They changed the music for us which I think was impressive. - The food has been reviewed so many times, no need to comment. Tables and cutlery was clean. Decorum and everything else is top notch, and very well presented. - Toilet was clean, well stocked. - Parking on the side, several car ports. At lunch time, plentiful. - The premises has a separate hall for functions, as on photo. Every time I'm near, I will be having a pit-stop at Bala's. Massive respect to the whole team!

We were hoping to grab a quick bite as we had an appointment to get to, asked if they have any ready to eat snack and was told they do - placed order and waited 10-15 mins with no service. Ended up losing our time and having to head back without food for the whole afternoon. Would have been easier for everyone if they had just said initially they dont have anything ready. Very disappointed.
