I go here weekly and they always have the best service and prices compared to anywhere else at the mall. Theyβre kind, generous, and super friendly. They always give my daughter a marshmallow with my coffee even though we donβt order a fluffy. Theyβre also consistently good coffees unlike some of the other places at the mall Iβve tried.
every time i pop into this store location im always met with such a lovely smile and great Service. never one complaint! best coffee and muffins, definitely recommend having a little bite to eat and drink when visiting The Crossing mall!
Looooove these guys so much! Friendly service and great wholesome food at a great price. My only advice would to be pick your timings when ordering as if it is busy there can be a delay. But the staff are lovely so all you need to do is ask :) There's not much atmosphere as it is in the middle of the mall, so no ambient lighting but the chairs are comfortable and theres plenty of space for wheelchairs/walkers.
Absolutely terrible service by some blond haired numpty who needs to have his hearing tested. I ordered two cappuccinos, one large and one small , both with trim milk. I received two small cappuccinos both with full cream milk. When I mentioned that he'd got the order wrong, he got stroppy and tried to tell me I was being rude for telling him he needs to listen to what's being ordered. I'm also sure that he charged me full price for a muffin as advertised as being reduced.
The food was great - we were impressed with the wide range on offer - there was something for everyone and I could have happily chosen just about everything! I am writing mainly to commend Lani who served us - she was professional and efficient but it was her calm, unassuming manner which impressed - she came across as a pleasant, friendly girl who did everything right! Well done - we enjoyed our Muffin Break thanks.
Don't even want to give 1 star. Very unfriendly staff. Everything looked to be an effort. Went to get a table and 4 of the tables hadn't even been cleaned although all staff were standing around talking. Coffee took 25 minutes to come to us as they said they were servicing the machine. Over all very unhappy and will not go back
We are never disappointed at Muffin Break Tauranga Crossing. Consistently good and cheerful service, good food choices, great coffee, and they never get our order wrong. The franchise owner does a really good job at keeping things moving, training his staff and is a great cook.
My lattΓ© was really great....especially as thanks to your generous reward system it only cost me $1 for medium size. Food is always fresh and tasty with a good selection. Thanks also for my free muffin to celebrate my birthday...A generous offer which is appreciated
Muffins delicious and other food really tasty and prepared with care. However my friend and I were dismayed to find even though the prices have gone up extra hot water is no longer included. Moreover we had to ask for a decent amount of milk for our tea ( twice in two visits). Not everyone drinks strong tea. A bit of a lag with clearing tables so we could find somewhere to sit. Ended up doing it ourselves, twice. Otherwise a good experience.
