Even when they are crazy busy, they make you feel welcome and provide the best personal service you will find in New Zealand. Their food was excellent, with simple dishes prepared perfectly. Lunch and desert was brought out at the same time, five dinner plates on a two person table. The attitude when we asked do you always bring out the food was openly hostle and rude. The food was good but the service is neither logical or very good. I would not recommend at the price.

One of Hamilton’s longest running cafes and it’s easy to see why. It’s exactly what you expect from a good cafe: consistently great coffee, tasty food, quick service and comfortable dining. This is a narrow cafe with some street seating, about 10 indoor tables and a large outdoor area at the back which feels like a secret oasis in the middle of the city. Service is speedy and friendly. Coffee’s come quickly. Food is tasty and they do waffles and fantastic pasta as well as the usual café breakfast/lunch bits. Expect to pay about $18-25 for a meal for one excluding drinks.
food taste & presentation is always consistent. one of our fav go-to brunch spot with impeccable service. if you’ve not tried it, you’re obviously missing out.
