At Aikmans Bar & Eatery, the menu stays burger‑led with tidy execution. Portions make for an easy, filling stop. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Meals reach the pass promptly. Buns hold well and patties come juicy.
Loved everything such a great day came in for lunch but stayed all night. Sophie our waitress made our day she had such good banter and menu information we will come back just for her.
Really nice staff and great food. The environment so awesome too. Great time had by us four guys dinner out. Service was magnificent, could not fault how friendly and helpful the staff were. --> I will be back for another meal.
Today, we sampled two cocktails and indulged in two scrumptious salads, savoring the delectable taste of the lamb salad and vibrant Super Green salad. The experience was nothing short of delightful. We shall certainly return for another taste of this gastronomic pleasure. And then today, an exceptionally handsome and courteous gentleman provided our service. I suspect he may indeed be the owner of this establishment.
We had a table for Cup Day. We cannot commend the team highly enough. Nick the venue manager introduced himself at the start of the day to ensure my dietary requests were going to be met along with other health issues. The service from all the staff on a very busy day was exceptionally good as always. Can't wait to return for year 7 for Cup Day to celebrate with my group of friends.
Sophie looked after our table of 6 and was simply amazing. Great knowledge of menu and her recommendation were terrific. The venue was really busy and Sophie made it look effortless getting round all the tables and was so efficient as well smiling and making everyone feel welcome.
Normally packed with oldies however on this quiet weekend it was a nice mix of people. Suggest the music doesn't need to be blasted when it's a quiet not so bustling night. Makes for a more enjoyable atmosphere to actually chat to friends without shouting above music.
Busy wee place, staff were lovley despite being busy. Unfortunately the beef burger was a complete let down. It appears that seasoning the beef was not high on the agenda. Otherwise lovley atmosphere and the cocktails were awesome!
Great indoor and outdoor restaurant. Lots of people enjoying the warm evening. They have good meals and good hot snacks to eat at the outdoor tables. Definitely worthwhile dropping in for a quick snack or with a reservation booking a table.
Good environment despite overcrowded. Ordered medium well steak but instead come out heavily salted well done steak. The other side dish i ordered truffle mash is delicious though.
Service and Food was great! I ordered the Snickers and Cajun chicken burger, Both were absolutely perfect and i can say that confidently as i know what good food is as i work in hospitality. All were very nice and welcoming, Thank you!
