They consistently have the best prices in NZ, and their website is super clear and easy to navigate. Shipping is always fast, and when I choose click & collect, my order is ready to pick up really quickly. Reliable, great value, and my go-to store for running gear!

    Had an interesting experience about a month or so ago. Was inquiring about a return of a Garmin watch so that it could be exchanged for a refurbished one. They were very helpful about providing information about the exchange and what I would get. However they also processed an exchange request without me asking them to and wouldn’t give me time to get back to them about making a decision. I’m not sure if I caught them on a bad day but this ended up with them cancelling communication with me, stating β€œthis is taking a lot of time for a simple request”. I ended up contacting Garmin directly who were able to complete the exchange for me without any hassle.

    Bought a watch for my wife. Fitness NZ had been recommended by people I trust and value who had dealt with them and also purchased watches from. I contacted Fitness NZ and discussed what I was thinking and knew what my wife wanted out of a watch. Options were discussed with me and ultimately, I bought a watch. My wife is very pleased with the watch. Thanks team.

    Wow! I ordered a sample packet of LNMT electrolytes yesterday afternoon expecting it to be delivered after 2-3 days. To my pleasant surprise I received by package the next morning. 10/10 service, will be buying from Fitness NZ again!

    10/10 service from Steve. Steve clearly cares about what your requirements are and outlines clearly your options. I am glad that I was recommended to come into the store. You can try on the watches and compare them. For me, good mapping was critical and the Coros did not cut the mustard in any way shape or form. After a in-depth chat about the mapping capabilities and Garmin Interface along with the training functions for running and battery life I ended up walking out of the store with not only an Garmin Enduro 2 for me and Garmin Forerunner 955 for my partner. So glad to get away from our Shitbits (FitBits) as this is going to take us to the next level in our marathon running journey. Thanks Steve for the LMNT free sample packs too!!!!

    Got in touch via the instant chat option online and Steve was on poor form. Not friendly at all, rude and defensive would be the polite description. I would not recommend Fitness NZ based on this experience and I will not be purchasing anything else. Edit: My concern isn’t the fact I ordered the wrong band, that was absolutely on me. It was the abysmal attitude. Was great fun. Especially the email I received when this review was posted. I had zero issues with sending it back at my expense - I read that in the terms and conditions, it wasn’t mentioned in the chat. Yes, a credit was kindly offered and yes, I asked if it would expire as the correct strap was not currently in stock - which is why I incorrectly ordered the wrong one and β€œthey didn’t fit my watch” my fault. None of the answers bothered me, I had also read that watch straps were not returnable, but was asking anyway. It was simply the poor attitude that dampened the experience. Clearly I asked one stupid question too many and caught Steve at a bad time so his replies were not as customer friendly as they could have been. Sorry that this has been blown so wildly out of proportion. Sad that I’ve posted my first ever negative review.
