DO NOT SHOP HERE. I wish I read the reviews before going so I knew what to expect. Staff is so rude! I had to go a couple of times in order to exchange a gift and use some store credit and OMG what a horrible experience. Passive agressive comments in front of my child, they make you feel uncomfortable shopping, clearly no intention to help anyone and almost blamed me for their system not working correctly. Most of the products are available in other stores and much better brands. avoid. If you absolutely must engage with this company send someone else. Not suitable for mums and children. Clearly management doesnt care about customers as these people continue working there. At least if you wont sack them, re-train them! and save future families from their nasty behaviour.

Seems like the staff are passive-aggressive. Reading the reviews, it seems to not be improving. They were hovering the store, quite noisy and not a good atmosphere to be shopping at; yes, I understand it might be close to shut-down time, but they seem to rush us. A lady just grabbed stuff off our hands and said I would leave them at the counter. A chair was on display; when my wife tried, the lady sprang out and said the chair was broken. Nothing rude, but if a chair was broken, take it away or put a note on it. They were explaining things when asked, “Alright,” but they were just stressed, and the tone was very aggressive and fake.

Got medela breast cups the product said it is leak proof but it does not leak proof at all rather buying from them buy from shein will be more benificial please do not waste your money on this product you will be not comfortable at all. They want change or take it returns too.

I bought a white noise machine from here and took it home and plugged it in to charge. When I turned it on I realised the sound quality was terrible and tinny. I didn’t feel comfortable playing it for my son for an extended period of time so I turned it off and put it back in the box, still in perfect condition. I wanted to return it, it’s not broken it’s just bad quality, but wasn’t able to. I have a gift card instead, which is a shame as the item was used for just a few minutes to test the sound and then brought straight back.

There were two ladies working at the store on Sunday. One was really rude and got really annoyed at me for asking a question and was not helpful at all. The other kept following us around the store and kept taking things off my hand to take to the counter. It was really annoying and she made us feel very uncomfortable. She kept watching us too. We felt very very uncomfortable. These two were quite racist in my opinion as they only behaved this way with certain customers. I know this store is not going to do anything about this as I can see similar comments and no change. Atleast other customers can be aware of these two when they shop there. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

RUDE! older lady with glasses (didn’t get her name) asked my partner and I if we needed any help. told her we were fine and carried on browsing. she then proceeded to make us both feel uncomfortable by following us around the store acting “busy”… kept asking if we needed anything after telling her multiple times we were ay OK! she then told my partner she’d take our things up to the counter to hold while we continue shopping. He let her as we both don’t like confrontation so we just let it happen. At this moment I started feeling anxious and just wanted to get out of there. I told my partner to go up and pay because again, felt uncomfortable. as he was paying he over heard her and another staff member talking about us as if we were going to steal! will never shop here again and hope they get fired. It felt like staff were just being racist.

I have great experience with super helpful lady Carolyn. I enquire items over the phone and asked if I could buy them directly from the store as they are out of stock on website and my nearest store. She went above and beyond to help me buy the item I need. Super friendly and helpful.

I had two interactions in this store today. The second being great… the first however, absolutely awful. First interaction: I came to return a couple of items and was served by a woman with platinum blonde short hair and very dark eyebrows. I do not know her name as she did not give me a receipt (probably on purpose). When I came to return my items she berated me for not having a little plastic hook that came with the packaging. I had literally everything else and the receipt. Her demeanour was really passive aggressive and condescending.. even though I had been really apologetic for not having the little plastic hook. She just spoke to me like I was stupid and kept repeating to remember next time to bring the little plastic hook. She proceeded to issue me store credit on a gift card which was fine (until I went to use it!). While I was looking around the shop to spend the store credit she was wandering around grunting and making noises like she was really angry while putting clothes on the racks. Really bizarre and a little terrifying actually… I purposely kept avoiding her. Second interaction: Once I’d found some items I went back to the counter to use the store credit just issued. The lady with brunette hair that served me was super kind and the only staff in the store that asked customers if they needed help. Upon paying with the store credit, we noticed the rude staff member had loaded $2 less on the card that was owed. I can only assume this was a passive aggressive way of getting revenge for not having the little plastic hook? Anyway, I was already so drained from her bad energy that I just paid and left. I won’t be coming back as long as this woman is working here I’m afraid. I’ll go to Kmart or postie next time. Seriously, this woman’s energy is so dark. I feel really sorry for her colleagues and customers that have to put up with it. She clearly does not like people. New mums are often vulnerable, exhausted and riddled with anxiety and people like this are just horrible to encounter in that state of mind. I would like the Baby Factory Papanui to acknowledge this experience and ensure no one else has to experience what I did today.

3 people on staff and absolutely ignored the whole time in the store. The last time after 20 mins we just walked out, this time we just needed to find and buy a thing but wanted to see it in person. It took us looking ourselves, pulling the co sleeper out under the display and put it back. The only interaction was when they saw us waiting at the counter. Honestly, the worst customer service from a company and we will just avoid them in future.

Bought a pram 2 years ago from this store. I was been told this RRP $499 pram could been use upto 4 years old. But when my daughter was 8 months old, the pram was broken already! I went back to the store asked for a return, staff helped me got a replacement. But just a year later, the new seat broken again! And this time i've been told it out of warranty, They can't help! BE AWARE OF THE PRODUCT'S QUALITY EVEN THEY ARE NOT CHEAP!
