   We needed a place for a late lunch on the day after New Years and not many places were open but bird on a wire stays open till three pm for lunch. The menu as implied by the name revolves around chicken and they do a very good job with it. The fries are also absolutely crunchy and delicious. My wife who is Slender as a reed and normally will do things like eat a carrot devoured a plate of chicken and a bowl of fries. The picture with the coffee cup next to it is hers and in addition to what's on her plate she also polished off half of a side bowl of fries. Staff were Pleasant and service was great. Portion size was generous.

   Great place on Grey Street. Friendly staff that greet you with a smile and great service too. Food was nice and hot,fresh from the kitchen. Tables clean and floors well kept. Definitely add this to the list of places to go back too :)

   As you can see Bird On A Wire make incredibly beautiful food but I can confirm it doesn't skimp on taste either. An absolutely delicious meal, quiet environment with super friendly service. Can't complain!

   Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was awesome. Corporate take note, the new espresso martini needs two shots of espresso not one. We sent the first one back and the difference was huge (pics attached). Please update your recipe and commend your staff for how well they handled things.

   Nice place. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Almost all dishes are chicken, hence the name. But a very large selection. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

   I missed the opening day 3 months ago. Seems like Hamilton East is becoming a great dining spot for the city. Nice decorations, enjoyed the service and amazing food. We just ordered two dishes, Parmegiana and salad. Loved the seasoning in the salad, specifically the tofu one, which makes a great combination with kumara. The chicken was fantastic and worth every penny. The salon was not too full when we arrived, but when we left most of the tables were full. Good signal of a great place to be. For kids, awesome to see heaps of colorful pencils to entertain them while waiting for the food. Certainly will come back soon.

   Tried the bird on a waffle and it was fab! Real soft waffle, great chicken. Massive feed! The iced americano was great too. Will definitely be back! Happy opening day, team! Edit: been back more than a few times. Have a hard time going past the waffle but have tried the Mother Clucker and a bird bowl too.

   Good quality food. Only criticism was that the quantity of the food was varied. The rice bowls were a bit small in serving size based on the price. Wait staff were really friendly and the place wasn't busy so the food arrived in a reasonable time.
