As far as Mexican food in NZ goes, this is the best place I’ve come across. The queso, while not like typical western queso, had flavor all other queso’s in NZ have lacked. The meat in the tacos was well seasoned, and the street corn was absolutely amazing.

Really like strong flavours that they provide. The food is presented well, and the service was friendly and helpful. If you like Mexican, then try them out.

Came out for dinner with friends, was a last minute booking but looked really amazing. Drinks were great, but service from a couple staff was marginal and the food was less than okay. Got meal checked and had all said the meal was okay/alright (definitely not great) and nothing more was said or asked like why we thought that, friend’s tacos with chicken were soaking in oil. A few of us are or have worked or ran places in hospo and it was really disappointing service. Ate our food cause we were super hungry mainly cause entree’s came out late and not together. Would not be coming back didn’t feel like our feedback was welcome and I’m hoping that the owner doesn’t rebut this with a negative response like other reviews. Should learn and better themselves for other’s experiences, I think it could be awesome if fixed.

Very good food and service was wonderful. Drink was delicious and refreshing! We were sat in front of the door to the Cuban though, and they said they kept it closed, but people kept opening it and it was cold. Not their fault though and everything else was wonderful!

We went for the 2 for 1 main specials on Tuesday. The food was delicious, served quickly and was decent portion sizing! We ordered 2 mains (for the price of 1 wooop wooop) and we also ordered a kids burrito (which was great) and the fried chicken starter, which was super delicious. Great for families and an enjoyable meal out without breaking the bank! Will def be back!

Wouldn’t recommend doing a bottomless brunch here, comparatively speaking. Service was slow, two people making drinks, not very alcoholic. Food was tasty but lacked portion size. Overall we felt dissatisfied and won’t be returning

As a party of 4 adults (50- 67yrs) on a Saturday night we agreed food was excellent, dietary requirements catered for -vegetarian & gluten free. Polite & attentive staff. Lacks ambience, tired decor, with open plan layout, hard bench seating. Felt cold, none of us took off jackets or coats. I know we are not in Mexico.

Nice service and very interesting set out sitting next to the fire place although it was little too hot. Food was okay and the drinks where better.
