Super easy walk to the viewing platform if you start from the top of the loop. Gets really steep if you start from the bottom, but there is a few cool streams and some hidden waterfalls. Couldnβt find a way to the bottom of the big waterfall (Iβm sure thereβs a way) but Iβll try next time. Lots of people there and was a super fun walk and time!

Lovely little hidden gem, stunnung tracks set amongst tranquil, native bush, not far from christchurch. walks with good options for just a leisurely easy walk to a more adventurous 2hr hike. We did the loop track, which is about 50 minutes but we took our time and took in the scenery so were out there for awhile, pretty moderate. Very beautiful.

Great track with an awesome reward at the end! Walk is intermediate, with many steep or narrow sections, but great views all around. Plenty of wasp bait stations keep the wasp levels to a minimum as well. Loop track means you can walk for either 10 or 50 minutes to reach the falls. Good picnic facilities too.
