Sketch people actually living here in a non sef contained car. They leave before 8 AM and come back 10 AM. Water is not supplied anymore. Very dirty toilet. Do not come here

Free camp with bathroom and other amenities. The best part was that we were able to enjoy our time without getting bothered by bugs! We almost drove out of the way to come back here. The other guys were quiet and respectful.

I stayed two nights at the Cust Domain Overnight Campervan Parking and absolutely loved it. The site is spacious and peaceful, nestled among mature trees that block road noise beautifully. Tap water near the toilet area and a convenient wash-up spot for dishes are great touches. The public toilets are general-purpose, clean, and functional. A self-containment certificate is required, and the adjoining dog-friendly park makes it perfect for pet owners. I really appreciate the local council and community for providing this little haven—it’s a fantastic, well-maintained spot with good mobile coverage and close proximity to nearby towns.

So much room. Well looked after, even a bit of responsible freedom camping when I last walked our dogs there. A REAL N.Z rural asset, much loved by locals, horse folk, cricketers etc. etc. Highly recommended.

A great stay til Uncle Grandy came and touched my kids, Cust is a bit weird especially the school where kids are encouraged to write great reviews about their little town.
