   Staff at Pascoes Hornby are lazy, unhelpful, and incompetent (28/09/25). Bought silver earrings at Pascoes Riccarton, told we could exchange within 14 days. Came to Pascoes Hornby the following day with receipt but staff refused, citing “hygiene reasons.” Manager couldn’t be bothered to even look at the receipt and just sent a junior to say no. We phoned up Pascoes Riccarton and they apologised on behalf of the staff at Hornby and said they would help us - it’s as simple as that! Staff at Pascoes Hornby need to review their own policies and learn customer service.

   My favourite jewellery store in christchurch! Dasha (Assistant Manager) is always attentive and helpful. She genuinely cares about all customers. Lovely customer service, great recommendations, easy and quick experience! I recommend 10000% :) Always great service, happy Team whenever I go in. I'm one of those people where the quality of service is important, can't fault this one at all. Great stuff Team

   After a shocking experience at Michael Hill hornby, we went to pascoes, just round the corner. We were greeted by Andy. Fantastic first impression. I was adamant that I only wanted cubic zirconias. My husband found a gorgeous diamond ring on special. Whilst I was not looking for a diamond, I REALLY liked the one my husband saw. After I lot of too-ing and fro-ing and Andy letting my try the ring on many times, I decided I wanted it. Through the entire experience, Andy was friendly, fun and informative. I also ended up getting another ring to compliment it. At no time, did we feel pushed to buy. Andy is a credit to Pascoes.
