I had a great experience at the Hornby store. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found exactly what I was after and the quality was excellent.
You wait in store to purchase something... no Hi or hello or won't be long. Just walked around and didn't even make eye contact. Left and shopped else where. Charge ridiculous prices and don't have the service to match it..
Great service but the courier they use takes way too long
They really need to do staff training for all Silvermoon stores in Christchurch. So so disappointed..
Very bright, clean and white store
My husband and I visited the store on 25 Feb wanting to buy earrings for a little girl. The sales persons comment was shocking and racist. She said "it is illegal to pierce ears for a 2 year in NewZealand, 'we' in NZ do not do it but 'you' people do it all the time". I was taken aback and shocked, I told her that the way she profiled us based on how we look is not acceptable and judgmental and we are from NZ too and walked out of the store. The comment she made ruined my evening. I refrained from speaking out publicly about the incident for a few weeks but I thought you can train your staff to treat people with respect
