   This is a great Venue in the heart of town easy to miss if you didn’t know it was there , we was able to enjoy drinks on the rooftop balcony and then seated for a nice dining experience with above average food and attentive staff making this an easy recommendation

   Fine dining in Christchurch! We really enjoyed our night at The ONE. The restaurant is small enought to feel cozy, but it is decorated in style and with ambience. The staff is friendly and attentive. All of the dishes we had had carefully selected flavour combinations and were executed to perfection, creating a delicious experience. They have yummy cocktails and a good selection of wines.

The food was absolutely exceptional—each dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, with flavours that exceeded our expectations. We also opted for the "Trust the Chef" wine match, and it was an incredible journey of perfectly paired wines that enhanced every course. What truly made our evening special was the outstanding service. Zak went above and beyond, ensuring we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the night. He even made extra efforts to celebrate our anniversary, which made the experience feel personal and unforgettable. We highly recommend The One for anyone looking to enjoy top-tier food, fantastic wine pairings, and exceptional service. It was the perfect place for our celebration

   We had a wonderful night to celebrate my partner’s birthday at the restaurant. The three course meal was absolutely amazing, thanks to the chef. I personally loved gnocchi, the best! And the dessert was delicious too. Also, thanks to the amazing staff, they absolutely made the night special.

   Had an amazing night out here, really loved the Chef's Degustation menu, the food was incredible and the staff were an absolute joy - polite, friendly and with great banter. The atmosphere was incredible with the light displays on the ceiling, light up menus to know what you are reading, gorgeous artworks on the walls and a top floor view of the city centre. I am gluten free and they were able to cater for me easily as well

   Being a regular returnee visitor to the garden city, I always look for the newly opened bars and restaurants, which is almost a FOMO. Among the 3 places I visited last week, TheOne Rooftop Bar definitely stood out by miles. Nestled in the Chch City Hotel rooftop, it’s hugged by the entire city, which has been renewed from inside out over the last decade. The lift takes you right to the welcoming restaurant. Decorated with what struck me as Singaporean or HongKong metro style with a Kiwi twist, the cafe and bar area blends together so well that no matter where you sit, there is an immaculate view. Walking outside, you get nearly 360 degree view of the city. I could imagine having a glass of Sav in a summer night around the LED lit bar tables. Highly recommended to those who fancy a bit of classy service.
