As a young buyer the looks and attitude I received from the staff were less than favourable, until I was approached by Regan who's service was fantastic. He was friendly and joked around with us while staying professional, and ended up helping us make a great choice. Unfortunately he was chewed out by another staff member in front of me which was completely disappointing.
I would not recommend shopping at Hunter's Hamilton. The post purchase service I have received from the manager Matt is absolutely sub-standard, which is a shame as Rochelle was such a pleasure to deal with. It feels as if once the sale is complete it is no longer their problem. I had issues with the delivery of my Sofa's - due to the delivery man over extending his schedule. I had one sofa put into place while the other was left on it's back in front of the other sofa. I could not set the sofas up as I had to wait for my neighbours to come home and help me move them into place. While Matt has offered to refund the delivery price what they have charged me is still incorrect and he has spent none of his time trying to rectify instead I am having to chase around to work out why the value is still incorrect. This branch Manager has no concept of Customer Service.
Budget, if you're buying on a budget, or exploring other furniture options consider Hunter Funiture Hamilton. I suggest looking online first, then use website search engine for specific items. However, if you like to physically see what you want, a trip to the store is or the more reason to satisfy your curiosity.
I brought a leather lounge suite Morgan and it was not cheap it is just out of the 3 year warranty and when getting in touch with Hunter they weren't interested. The leather on the front of the couch is flaking. I was told it was a died leather and this wouldn't happen. I would not go to a Hunter shop if they were giving them away. Promise you everything when buying but don't follow up.
Very bad experience. I bought verona leather sofas. Had damaged leather , Then they sent another one as replacement, which has more bad condition than first one and also delivery left in my garage despite my wife request them to put in lounge but they refused to do this. Very very disappointed.
