Incredible service, truely went above and beyond with their customer care. The businesses actions truely show that they prioritise human decency and respect of their customers, even when this rivals their profits. Took my car in this weekend and they not only gave high quality service at an incredibly reasonable price, but they also took it down to the WOF Station where I originally had it woffed to get the changes approved and the car was both woffed and repaired when I collected it. I cannot recommend them enough, for good service, great prices, and human decency which is sorely lacking in businesses these days, bring your car here. You will not be disappointed.
Frustrating and a waste of time. Needed a part replaced, booked a week earlier and asked them for a time on a Saturday when they could do it and was told 9am, would take about an hour. All over the counter, signs were displayed that bookings were essential, I had a booking and was comfortable about the work being complete. Car dropped off and keys handed over, was told job will start shortly as the mechanic had a current job about to finish. Off for a walk and 1.5hrs later I returned to find out that the job had not even started and a story about how everyone wants work done at Christmas. What is the point of a confirmed day and time booking if a booking system is not used. Really frustrating. I suggest that if Claudelands Automotive want to retain customers, they actually start using a booking system. Most people, like me will not get burnt twice. I am off to another garage.
A bit late on the review, since I got my car repaired couple months ago but better late than never. Before going in to CALtd, I'd been making calls around to compare prices. Everywhere I'd been calling or visited seem to have over the top priced services. Anyways, I was on my way to drop off my nephew to Uni and on my way back home may car literally started smoking in front of this place. I went in desperately to seek some help. I went in thinking they were gonna turn me away and tell me that they're fully booked or some excuse, but that wasn't the case with these guys. Justin whom I dealt with on reception, went to check the bonnet and told me what needed to be done. I asked him for an estimate of how much it will cost me to get a radiator replaced. His price was a lot more affordable than those automotive places that have "affordable" placed in front. I left my car with them and was dropped off by one of the lovely staff. Recieved the company courtesy car as soon as it became available and a day later, I got a call my car was ready to get picked up. They were very helpful, respectful, honest, affordable and overall a great experience. Cannot stress this enough. Thank you Justin and team.
Great customer service, reasonable prices, friendly capable staff
Very bad service. The owner has very bad actions. He doesn't respect customers. He is so ruth and impolite. He is just happy when you pay him money, after that if you have any issues, he won't care and tell that isn't his fault. Still very angry when think about the issues and the way he treated me.
On two different occasions in reception, I've witnessed customers' suprise when they came in to pay the bill, and it's under the original quote. Good service and friendly staff. Hard to find good honest mechanics like this. Respect.
