Went in looking for iphone 14 case, no staff around i found someone who said all the stock is on the wall which i looked wasn't helpful at all, asked another staff member who looked on computer for any stock said there was 1 in stock said it could be on shelf or out the back then said go to a phone shop at the base. Poor customer service felt like the staff didn't care at all will not be returning to this store.

Spilt coffee on my laptop-- it needed to be cleaned and some parts repaired. So I contacted PBtech and told them the model of my laptop and what happened. They said to bring it in, but when I did, they took the grand time of an hour to look at it, get back to me, and tell me that it was 'too old and repairing it wasn't worth it.' (The guy was also very hard to understand) My laptop is from 2018. It's not ancient. I also don't just magically have the money for a new laptop???? Now I'm 40$ out for them doing nothing and sending me packing. Not to mention, that when I opened the laptop at home to look inside it, the damage was untouched and everything was sealed. They didn't even look inside the laptop, they just decided it wasn't worth it-- AFTER telling me to drive it in. Which took an hour, btw. I don't live in town. I've since got the laptop looked at by someone else, and they see no reason why the laptop should be discarded. It's being cleaned and repaired. Honestly, shame on PB Tech and their money-hungry, sticky-finger, cash-grabbing tactics.

Hello, do you have any games? I bought a Xiaomi 6 electric scooter at PB Tech Hamilton last month, but it was stolen at the mall today. I have already reported it to the police. If there are anyone coming to the store to request to unlock the Xiaomi motor or to buy the charging battery for the Xiaomi electric scooter, please be aware. Thank you very much. Do you have an email? I can send you the invoice information.

Driven to the store several times now and still can’t collect my click-and-collect order. The first time, I was stopped at the door because they were setting up for β€˜Hack Friday.’ The second time, I was told I’d have to wait in line due to the store’s limited entry policy. The third time, I finally got inside, only to find a 30-minute queue and no click-and-collect counter in sight. Do not order from PB in November, this has been awful.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but after dealing with two different ASUS laptops in the past, I feel compelled to warn others. First ASUS Laptop – Poor Battery Life The first ASUS laptop I purchased was a budget model, around $600, and from day one, the battery life was terrible. A full charge barely lasted 2–3 hours, even with light usage. At the time, I didn’t think too much of it β€” I figured I had simply cheaped out, and this was the tradeoff for a low-cost machine. Second ASUS Laptop – Serious Hinge Issues (Vivobook 15X OLED M1503QA) Expecting a better experience with a more expensive model, I later bought the ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED M1503QA for around $1,600. I assumed at this price point, I was getting a durable, long-lasting work laptop. Sadly, that was not the case. Despite being kept on a desk and used gently for work, the hinges broke unexpectedly. I opened the lid one day and, at around a 45-degree angle, I heard a pop β€” the plastic backing snapped off. No excessive force was applied; the build quality simply failed. After some research, I found many other users reporting the exact same hinge issue, blaming it on cheap materials used by ASUS. I reached out to support to see if they would offer a repair, even though the warranty had expired. Their response? They blamed it on excessive force, which couldn’t be further from the truth. If you’re okay with buying a new laptop every couple of years, maybe ASUS is for you. But if you want reliability, build quality, and good customer service, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Great service. These guys have lent me a tv while my one is away being repaired. I appreciate that very much.

I recently embarked on an ambitious journey to upgrade my PC setup, and the centerpiece of my new rig was the highly touted Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5975WX, purchased from PB Tech. Armed with excitement and expectations of unparalleled performance, I eagerly installed this behemoth of a processor into my first motherboard. Little did I know that this decision would lead to a series of unfortunate events that left me frustrated and bewildered. Upon installation, the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5975WX proved to be more than my initial motherboard could handle. To my dismay, it caused my motherboard to malfunction and rendered it inoperable. This unexpected turn of events was certainly not what I had hoped for, as I found myself without a functional computer and a motherboard that needed replacing. The disappointment was palpable. Optimistically, I acquired a new motherboard, hoping that the combination of the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5975WX and this new hardware would lead to the gaming experience of my dreams. Alas, reality had other plans. Despite my best efforts and the seemingly impressive specifications of the processor, I found that my gaming sessions were plagued by lag and stuttering. The once seamless world of gaming turned into a frustrating ordeal, with frame drops and input delays becoming the norm rather than the exception. It is disheartening to say that the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5975WX did not live up to the hype. The performance inconsistencies and compatibility issues that I experienced made it abundantly clear that this processor is not as user-friendly as I had hoped. While the promise of top-tier performance was alluring, the actual experience has been nothing short of a letdown. In hindsight, I regret choosing the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5975WX for my build, especially since I purchased it from PB Tech. The troubles it brought upon my first motherboard and the subsequent performance woes on my replacement motherboard have left me feeling disillusioned. Furthermore, despite my earnest attempt to share my experience, PB Tech did not allow me to post this review on their website, which adds another layer of disappointment to this ordeal. For gamers seeking a reliable and seamless experience, this processor might not be the best option. As I continue to troubleshoot and attempt to salvage my PC setup, I can't help but wish I had chosen a different path. In conclusion, my experience with the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5975WX has been marred by compatibility issues, motherboard breakdowns, and disappointing gaming performance. While I understand that technological glitches can happen, the extent of the problems I encountered, along with the lack of transparency on the part of the retailer, has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I sincerely hope that future iterations of this processor will address these issues and provide the performance and reliability that PC enthusiasts deserve. Until then, I caution others to approach this processor with a healthy dose of skepticism

Advertise as 1-day delivery on their website for a TV. Rung Mainfreight who they use to deliver T.Vs & they say they would never do one day delivery??? Which is fair. False advertising on there site, it's after you have already paid. So full of it. Ordered on Monday night earliest delivery is this Friday.

Pbtech Hamilton has always been a good experience. They usually keep the items I'm after or have it available in a couple of days for pick up. Most staff are good and the service is also good. There were times I've gone in to purchase a few things and been ignored by staff or they will quickly walk away. So if you can then do your purchases online and just head in for pick up's at the front checkout.

Staff were helpful and directed us to an appropriate laptop for our needs, and meet our budget. The staff have knowledge of the different laptops, specs and what this means. The pricing at PB Tech is always very good, and cheaper than the big brand retail stores for similar spec items.
