   We were super lucky to come across a lovely, patient, and knowledgeable lady at Mountain Warehouse The Base Shopping Centre in Hamilton while getting gear for my son’s school camp. She knew exactly what we needed, asked all the right questions, and helped us pick out the perfect gear in no time. Her efficiency saved us heaps of time – really impressed!    My parents went to the store on 11/11/24 around 4:30 pm to buy a few items (clothing and a water bottle). My dad asked the male staff member for help twice but was ignored. I also asked him a question from about 2 meters away, and he ignored me at first; when he did respond, it was with no customer service skills. Additionally, he spoke to the female staff member, and they both seemed to approach us indirectly, glancing our way, talking, and giggling. The products are great—five stars for them—but the customer service was very disappointing. My dad felt humiliated and even thought he was being discriminated against. We won’t be returning, and yes, I will be emailing the same to your department. Good luck with the sales.

   Bought a waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers and a daypack. All are good quality at very good prices. Service was good even though the shop was busy. I compared prices with their retail neighbors and confirmed the very good value. I will shop here again.

   Outstanding..much more 'fashionable' pieces which mean you don't have to be look frumpy to be warm. Good that the other major retailers of this type of gear have some competition. Prices are outstanding and great see service by the manager. My first ever puffer/down jacket after living here for well over a decade and absolutely love it!
