   After making our purchase today I left the shop feeling quite deflated, not with the product but the service or lack of service. My husband and I were the only customers for the entire 30mins or so.....we were in the store. I struggled finding sizes and dealing with the big piles of folded clothing, and at no time did the assistant look my way to see if I needed help. In the end I had to go to her!!!! I felt she didnt care about us or our needs, instead she was too busy humming to the very loud music playing which when i thought later was drowning our shopping experience even more when speaking to my husband. The whole experience was underwhelming but we persisted because it's a great shop for husbands who are larger than life. I will continue to shop there but hope I get better service in the future. I don't normally get grumpy but today we spent alot of money and if it wasn't for customers like us that young lady wouldn't be employed. It works both ways.

   This review is long overdue, so apologies there. I basically needed a new wardrobe and have always been self concious about clothing shopping. I've shopped at this store before and always been looked after well, however this time was on another level. Shaun made me feel so relaxed and genuinely was there for my benefit. He gave me a new found respect in myself and totally knew what he was talking about. And then Po came along too (forgive me if the name is incorrect). The two of them working together was amazing and this whole experience was just outstanding. I should mention that the clothing is also of great quality and lasts. I'll definitely be back. I can't thank you both enough.

   I have just had the best service ever from the guy who runs this store at the Base - he was awesome. I came out better dressed than I have been in 35 years - all the gear I need to look great at an upcoming family wedding in Melbourne. I think his name is Sean/Shaun - an apology mate if I got that wrong - but thank you again. I am not a shopper and you made it so, so easy, and made me look good in the process. (A challenge when most of my day to day wardrobe is Kathmandu T-shirts and shorts) Prices are sharp, quality is excellent - and as I said, service is superb. Thanks again.

   I went into the store wanting suitable attire for my mum's funeral. The stress of looking tidy was sorted in no time with some magnificent help and kindness from Shaun. His expertise with men's clothing is exceptional. He is a real asset to the shop.

   I have recently shopped at JB Te Awa. I was served by Sean and it was an absolute pleasure. He spent about an hour with me making suggestions and helping me try almost every suit on in the shop. I have spent 20 years in customer service and this has been the best experience I have had or witnessed. Very professional but still made then interactions casual. Once we had found the suit I needed he took me down the mall to have it tailored. I walked away with, a 3 peice suit, dress shirt,shoes, belt, hoodie and jacket and it was worth every cent. I'd like to thank Sean for his time because good customer service these days is few and far between let alone exceptional. A true asset to any business.
