Excellent food, went out there with a group of friends and we were well looked after. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a good curry.
The food!! Wow! You could taste the almonds and cashews in the korma gravy, it’s wasn’t just yellowy cream, the butter chicken was med hot and was actually medium hot, for a kiwi. You could taste the star anise and fennel, the flavours were all there. The service was excellent with our server very busy but still attentive enough to fill my wine glass a second time. The music wasn’t so loud, you could enjoy conversation but not over hear the group next to you. The cost was similar to others for a main dinner where we asked for a take home box for each of us. The rice was fluffy, the tomatoes and cucumbers fresh even in winter. It was terrific restaurant and we will definitely be coming here again. Better than most other places I’ve been to in Hamilton city.
We found this gem while traveling through the area. The staff were so pleasant and friendly, very welcoming. We were in for such a treat with these amazing curry dishes. Everything tasted fantastic and could not have been happier. They give very generous portions of naan which were my favorite to complement the curry. If I lived in the area I would come back again. What a great place.
Ordered a Chicken Mango and Lamb Korma for dinner tonight. You need to put meat in your dishes as I didn't pay for a tub of sauce. On a positive side the little we got was nice. Very disappointing and won't be back.
honestly pretty average Indian food. Naan bread just wasn't as good as other places, it didn't seem fresh. smaller portions of curry as other places too, and higher prices. onion salad was pretty basic.
Love this place. The staff are really nice and the food is delicious. Good family place to go. My children and I love to dine in here, as the staff always take good care of us. They have a great selection of drinks. Our favourite things are their mango chicken, the cheesy garlic naan and the poppadoms. Takeaway meals are just as easy though and it’s always quick to put an order through the website, and then go and pick it up.
Located on Grey Street (as imposed on the name), Curry on Grey provides amazing service and excellent food. I visited here for lunch on recommendation with my friend and the food was stellar. Although the Lamb Vindaloo curry that I had ordered alongside freshly made Garlic Naan bread was not spicy enough even on their hottest "hot" written on their menu, staff was kindly able to let me know there was a hidden spicer option called "Indian Hot" then "British Hot" that I will be trying next for sure. Would absolutely recommend!
