   Wouldn’t go near these guys . Wife had cx5 in there for a head gasket . Radiator was bubbling consistently and heater not working etc . All the common signs of head gasket failure . She took vehicle into Mazda rangiora they wanted to do diagnostics at 350$ . Computer would have brought up a code for this issue in 5 minutes flat . Sure enough it was head gasket failure ! Surprise surprise ! Their quote was over 5k . Oh well insurance is paying . 2 months later still no vehicle and they blame covid even though Covid was 2 years ago lol . Finally got it back and it went for about 1500km and engine light comes on . Take it to another garage this time and diagnostics for reasonable $70 brings up code for vacuum pump . When engine partially disassembled mechanics discovered extreme wear on camshaft. Mechanics said there is absolutely no way this just happened and would have been very evident when Mazda did the head gasket only 1500km ago . We all agreed Mazda knew the issue and reassembled the engine knowing it was under warranty and knew we would be back before long . The camshaft failure and head gasket failure is very common on these skyactive diesels there is no way they didn’t notice extreme wear on the cam . Have since talked to other mechanics who laughed when I told them and agreed they certainly know to fleece the insurance companies . Be warned , stay away from any dealership especially these guys who have lots of staff to pay , go to a small garage and get a more personalised honest old fashioned service .

   I started my enquiry via email & Angela was super quick to respond as well as providing full details into what I was wanting. After not replying to her for a few days the following week she called to touch base which was great because then we were able to book my car in for a full service and was accommodating to my needs, preference and date/times I was available.    Staff are friendly, very good at explaining what work has been carried out & happy to answer questions, offer advice. I always feel like I am being listened to when explaining any issues my car has & staff make sure they are understanding what I am trying to describe. I never have to worry that I'm going to be told some work needs to be carried out when it actually doesn't... I have had that experience elsewhere in the past. Also very impressed that staff acknowledge their customers may have budget constraints & work with customers to come up with the best plan of attack to accommodate that.
