   My wife and I went to 50 Bistro for dinner. It was Fabulous! The service was top-knotch, the space was classy but not pretentious and the food was superb. We didn't have an entrée, chosing to save room for a main and dessert, which turned out to be a good decision. My wife had the Lamb Loin, which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. I had the Canterbury Eye Fillet, which, while not a huge steak, was probably the best I have ever eaten. Beautifully cooked, fantastic quality beef, with smoked paprika gratin that was to die for. We shared a side of seasonal vegetables, which in this case was asparagus. Once again, we felt that this was the best, freshest, most superbly cooked asparagus we have ever eaten. And on to dessert: my wife had the Lemon Posset. And yes, yet again this was a personal Best Dessert Ever for her. I had the Vanilla Panna Cotta which I enjoyed immensely, especially the crystalized white chocolate 'soil.' Would we recommend 50 Bistro? A resounding YES!

   The experience at this restaurant was exceptional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. ​The starter tuna was fresh and delicately sliced. The chicken liver pate was smooth, rich, and deeply flavorful. As for the salmon, it was beautifully cured, with a velvety texture and a clean finish. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked to a juicy medium-rare finish. ​

   I had high tea. The tea itself was fantastic. The pastries and sandwiches were excellent. The staff was very attentive, maybe even over so in the beginning. And then it was hard to find someone when it was time to pay the bill. My one suggestion is that there's no way to take your tea bag out of the pot. Nothing to take it out with and no place to put it. And I don't always like my tea really strong, depending on what type of tea I get. They would also elevate the experience if they had some type of table cover.

   I had a pulled beef burger..was very good. My partner has the amazing Rice Risotto...you must try if you love rice. Service was a wee bit slow...but they were very busy..I recommend you try the tasty food here,and the drink's are good too.

   Food was great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was cool with some really great light features on the wall but it wasn't cheap. Reccomend if you're looking for a very nice evening out and not on a budget.
