   Worst experience at a restaurant ever. We had been regulars at Mexicanos and took a group of friends (table of 8) for taco Tuesday. Waited an hour and a half for food. We weren’t told to expect this delay, and we were gaslit when things were missed off our order when the food did eventually arrive. We were told if we wanted the food that had been missed, we would have to wait another hour. Our food came out long after the people around us (who we ordered before). We asked for a round of drinks to compensate and were told it was a busy night so they wouldn’t be doing that. The woman we believe was the manager or owner spoke to our table so rudely, we all agreed it was the worst hospitality experience we had ever had. She was patronising, mocking, and unapologetic. We lost our appetites after the shock of this, which is saying something if you’ve waited 90 minutes for your food. Will never be back and will definitely be sharing our experience with others.

   We walked in and were seated straight away on a Friday night. Friendly staff - attentive but not in your face (great!). We (two of us) shared a nachos & corn plus a jug of sangria. It was enough for us both without feeling stuffed. I have to commend the corn dish - it was flavourful and soft yet firm. So good! Sangria - lots of ice in the jug, but we roughly got two glasses worth each.

   Tried this place out for a light dinner. Ordered the salsa/guacamole with corn chips and a glass elderflower hibiscus sangria. The food was fine, but nothing really to get excited about in-terms of flavour. The service was lovely though.

   Some dishes are really delicious, but some are a big miss in my opinion. * the quesadilla is very good * butter cumin fish taco and the chicken taco are delicious! But grilled fish taco was average * skin potatoes with cheese sauce were quite bad. I wasn’t able to eat them. * cocktails are bad. We tried the classic frozen margarita and a mango margarita, both were average at most. The food came super fast and the place looks nice. I think you can have a really tasty dinner here, but you need to know what dishes to order otherwise it could be a total miss.
