We waited 25 minutes for 4 easy items, they said they had no hotcakes but they gave the people behind us them instantly, and they had a bigger order. The coffee machine was broken and the floor was soaking! Would not recommend, do not go there!
Honestly the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. We wanted to get some food before a flight. I waited 15 minutes for burger that was cold while staff stood around doing nothing. My sister waited over 25 minutes and her food still wasn't ready despite asking the staff multiple times. We ended up asking for a refund since we had to leave to make the flight. The manager was incredibly rude and uninterested in how long we had been waiting. I would never order here again
The man that served us was the nicest mcdonald's worker I've ever met. He was very nice and bubbly and attentitive to our needs. He said welcome and goodbye to everyone who walked in. The food was great as always.
McDonald's tend to taste the same all over the world. You can count on the taste of the burgers. Nothing exciting, but it's McDonald's and recognisable. Not over here though. I don't know what meat they use in New Zealand, but it's tasteless and dry. Terrible!!! Just like another kiwi location, so it might be a local thing. But no McDonald's for me for as long I'm in NZ. I do have to compliment the staff though. Super friendly!
I just have to say. Very clean on a Sunday morning. The place was spotless. My compliments to the cleaning crew. Service was fast. Not too busy. Food is, well, it's McDonald's food. Otherwise, best McDonald's I've seen in a while.
Awesome McDonald’s. Nice staff, clean and tidy environment and food was all hot and fresh. Coffee was delicious too and they were happy for me to hang around for my toddler to use playground as my flight was 4 hours wait. Thank you guys, you rock!
Went here last week with my step daughter. Dined in. Food was decent, but not terrific, usual for McDonald's standard. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was positive. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Will be back again. Kudos to McDonald's Christchurch Airport!!!
The gentleman cleaning the dining area was the sweetest most diligent McDonald’s worker I have ever seen. Thank you for providing a pleasant dining experience. Give him employee of the year!
My first visit to McDonald's in New Zealand was quite interesting. I found it amusing that you can pour your own drinks as the staff sells you a cup to use. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, but what caught my attention was the event they were hosting for a real estate mogul. They also had self-service ordering machines, which was a nice touch.
