   Came here tonight food was really good fun atmosphere but found hair in two of our dishes our waitress was very rude and only cleared our plates when we asked and they were obviously done, specifically the pakiha with brunette hair was rude but our chef was very nice and staff forgot it was one of our friends birthdays after noting it down in our booking overall not bad experience but definitely can improve

   Enjoyable teppanyaki experience. The ambiance was warm, comfortable, and cozy. My food was delivered exactly as I ordered it. Portions of everything were perfect for one person and the chicken was perfectly cooked (sauce was on the sweet side). This place was very close to my accommodation and I was able to walk in 3-5 minutes. Very convenient!

   I was on a business trip so did the a Le carte menu which is cook led on the teppanyaki grill. The food is of a very high quality but exceptionally expensive if you consider volume. The drinks menu is good. I would say as a lonely business traveller of experience, they cater for you very well.

   This is my 2nd time dining, food was pretty good. Chose the chef choice of meats and seafood and overall was delicious. The only thing was the waiters was constantly over my shoulder, checking if I was done even though I had food on my plate.. made me feel like they kinda wanted to hurry up and close but it was still early in the evening. Overall was pretty good

   Last day in Christchurch and glad to come across this teppanyaki restaurant. Is value for money for the set menu and we selected chef suggestion which come with Beef, Prawns and Chicken . The set also comes with an appetiser, miso soup and rice and the portion is generous. The chef is quite skilful and the beef is superb tasty , tender and not overcook even I ordered for medium well. Best to book in advance to sit at the chef counter.

   What a wonderful experience for my grandson's 10th birthday. The staff were so friendly and the food was great. The chef even managed to write happy birthday and draw a cake (in salt). To do this so we could read it, he had to write back to front and upside down. Grandson was very impressed. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   We were warmly greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome which is always appreciated,the service was attentive but not overbearing and the food..oh my goodness,so so delicious and abundant. We sat around the grill this time and had a set menu which was cooked in front of us to perfection by a friendly and clearly skilled chef who was absolutely engaging to watch. To top off the evening we were treated to a complimentary ice-cream dessert as we were celebrating an anniversary which came as a complete surprise and was such a treat. Thank you SuRa
