When you order a "hotbox" you would expect it to be spicy as they have been in the past, 29/11/25 it wasn't spicy at all. Just sayin, you spend $18 bucks for something you don't receive.
I’ve gone there a few times and the food is really nice. I love the wonton noodle soup the best though, it’s sooo good. Also their pork buns are nice
I bought there Garlic prawn noodles. And let me tell you it only took them 5min. It smelt so delicious so I had to open it in the car and get straight into. It was delicious. It was hot, filling and I still have heaps left. I will definitely come back and get my fix. Thankyou Papakura Canteen Noodles.
Unfortunately a bad experience this time round, ordered a combination fried rice, 1. food was a bit burnt (lots of black burnt bits throughout the bowl), 2. I did not order spicy but was given spicy so I called them to let them know about the issue, sadly was given a lecture by everyone of their staff members over the phone, they denied any fault and was very certain my claim was an impossible scenario and human errors never occur in their shop, they then passed me to another staff member who angrily blamed me for not eating spicy. Then another staff member took the call who was a bit more polite but then politely hung the phone on me. This was Very unfortunate

Worst food ever in my life and I'm 56. Zero flavor, dry noodles with no sauce, almost no veg and very little protein. I actually feel like ringing and asking for a refund. Save your money and go buy a packet of 2 min noodles. At least they have flavor and spice. Spent $60 and it will end up feeding the dogs and chickens. Heads up.go to Manakau their food is amazing.
I ordered the garlic prawns and it was the best decision. The flavour was just so good with that garlic flavour. There was also a lot of sauce which made the noodles taste so much better. The prawns were so good as well. They had a satisfying crunch to it when I bit into them. The meal was just so good 10/10 will get again. The service was also great. The staff was so nice and helpful. They were also really patient with me when I was figuring out what to other. The waiting was about 5 mins. I also really like how I can watch them cook my meal and their wok skills. Overall really good and would come again.
Hadn't had noodle canteen in a while so Mrs decided we would have it yesterday. Not even halfway through my nasi goreng and I caught a big 1cm piece of glass in my mouth. Clearly something broke in the kitchen and the cooks or whoever didn't think to play it safe and start again. Could have ripped my insides up if I hadn't caught that on the last few chews. Disappointed and think they need to adhere to food safety standards or be refreshed on them.
Meals there are great from Noodle Canteen Papakura Staff are great that's why I've given it 5 Star's
