Authentic Cantonese style Yum Cha ! The dim sum is the best that I had in Auckland so far !

Went for yum Cha. Pretty yum! Shumai juicy and lots of prawn. Squid tentacles crispy and flavourful. Waiters speak some English but didn’t seem to want to bring us some stuff we ordered for takeaway? Also no yumcha trolley, they come out on platters. Would go back, pretty equivalent to lobster palace and the other yum Cha place on chapel road. $110 for 3 of us.

They are open quite early for Yum Cha, so it is best to go earlier than at 12pm. Usually there is a bit of a wait, as the restaurant is not big. Most tables are suitable for 4 people, with a few that can sit more. They bring out the food on trays, instead of trolleys and the selection is limited to your more traditional dishes. Still very tasty, but no special dishes

A pretty nice yumcha place with reasonable prices. We went on a public holiday, it was busy but no wait time, we were seated immediately. Everything was good, nothing incredible but was overall tasty. The highlight would be the steamed yellow cake rolls, not too sweet, very fluffy with a little bit of saltiness from the filling in the centre. The bathroom was not very well maintained though. It wasn't disgusting, but only half of the toilets and basins were working, the others just had tape around them. Was about $130 for four adults, which I found ok, considering it was a public holiday. Good place to eat with friends. Just don't all go to the bathroom at once.

Good yum cha. Very busy - therefore the lack of atmosphere. Food is good. Enjoyed a good feed for the price I paid.

The Chinese cuisine here is really good. All the dishes we had were top quality and 100% tasty. Service was very good with the waitresses being very attentive and polite.

Environment is tidy, service is sometimes abrupt and not really polite. Overall taste is OK but they seem to use a lot of MSG in their food as I get extremely thirsty afterwards. My biggest dislike about this place is the lack of steam food during YumCha. Most of the time they only serve you the deep fried dishes and you would have to wait a long time for the steam food to come out. Especially when you sit on the second floor, the poor waitresses seemed extremely tired from carrying all the food upstairs….

Better service this time food was good too. Nothing too outstanding. Just how you would expect. Service: 3/5 Presentation: 4/5 Environment: 3/5 Food Quality: 4/5 Food Quantity: 3/5 Price per person: $100
