It is like a USA truck stop. Food is good, selection is good, service is great, and the atmosphere average, and has parking right outside the door, and toilets next door. . But with PB gas station on the same pull off it has been our number one stop for years.
The food was yum and affordable.. tastes like a home cooked meal The service was great, such friendly faces to greet you ☺️ cool playground for the kids
A lot to choose from on the menu and got a kids playground out back. Decent sized portion.
After leaving Auckland with the rental car, this was pretty much the first gas station we came across which had this restaurant. The restaurant offered quite a lot of food, though the prices for main dishes are on the higher side. The food was quite delicious, and the portions were huge. Recommended for a quick food stop.
I stopped off for breakfast at the start of a new road trip. The place was not too crowded and the service was swift and friendly. I chose the "Bacon breakfast" which is just regular bacon and eggs-with more bacon. Delicious. Nothing too fancy, but a good spot to start the trip from.
Always been happy with food here. Usually call in on the way home after picking up visitors at the airport. Coffee pretty good. Nice friendly service. Skip mc donalds next door and come in here instead ...chips are way better.
Stopped in here on my way south. Sick and tired of fast food options so we headed in here. Helpful staff heated my baby food and made small adjustments to miss 6s meal. Food came out in good time. Was tasty and freshly made. Similar type meal to one you can make yourself at home. Restaurant was clean and tidy. One negative was there were not any dairy free options. The waitress didn't seem sure what that restriction meant but offered to check with the chef. But usually if there isn't any labeled options it makes the risk of hidden dairy too high.
Great famiry restaurant, fast service. No one shouted at our naughty kids. Best hash browns. Oil tasted clean. Staff were very friendly. Good strong coffee. Prepped for the next four hours on the road!
Delicious food. Great big play area for kids out the back. Comfy seats. Great service. Just what a roadside diner should be.
