   Unbelievable!! I’ve been a loyal customer of Maher, and it’s always been one of my favourite shoe shops — but my recent experience has been very disappointing. I purchased a pair of shoes about two months ago, and unfortunately, they fell apart far too quickly. When I returned them, I was surprised to be asked for the physical receipt, even though my purchase was clearly recorded in their system. The quality of the shoes was poor, and the lack of proper customer service was very disappointing. I expected much better from a brand I’ve supported and trusted for years. I would never go back.

   My husband used to ADORE Maher shoes - he has bought several over the years. Unfortunately in the past couple of years that has changed. The quality of the shoes has completely tanked. You will be VERY lucky if Maher shoes last you 6 months. My husbands latest pair ended up falling apart after only three wears! And this is in a very sedentary office job, he’s not hiking in them and wears sneakers to and from the office. We took them back and the staff and owners couldn’t care less - ZERO customer service. The last pair he bought also fell apart with all the glue disintegrating. We will never buy Maher shoes again and all we can do is warn others. Really disappointing as they used to be a great brand.
