The old man attitude was so rude and aggressive. He chucked our pancakes/ plates at us, almost hit my face. The food was bad, my sister and I almost vomit (possibly food poison). When we were having a family conversation, my sis just said she doesn't like coriander, the old man just jump into our conversation with an aggressive attitude "is not my problem! u guys didn't say it first!". Honestly im very disappointed. the chopsticks and bowls are not cleaned properly. Never going back to this place again.

Delicious! Don't go here in a rush, it takes some time for them to make each order.. I believe that's why they're so fresh, tasty and great quality! I should've taken a photo but everyone rushed to start eating them.

Really bad experience, disappointed on the specialty dishes, the pancake is not even crisp, and the sauce tested spoiled, kind of sour. Really worried about the food safety. When the question asked, the owner just said that’s what they do, and blamed the customer don’t know anything with insulting tone. What a day.

Hadn’t been here in a few years and was after some Zhajiang noodles. Firstly, will say their pancakes are the star. These aren’t to be confused with western pancakes, these are more like pastry like buns that have been pan fried with a lovely crisp to them. They have a variety of sweet and savoury versions with the plain being my favourite. They have these nice layers and a moorish texture. Back to what we visited for - the noodles were sadly too salty and didn’t taste like it was fried. The noodles were also bit over cooked. Not horrible, just not the best. We also got the steamed pork & cabbage dumplings. The dumpling wrappers were really nice. The filling was okay at first but then became too salty. It may just be this province likes their food more salty. Would highly recommend the “pancakes” and would come back for these. Pretty decent sizes and a good snack or meal if you grab a couple.

Delicious authentic Tianjin breakfast food. Really cheap prices too, lovely fresh steamed buns only $2 each and Jian bing $8. The wonton soup for $12 is a huge serving, would recommend getting that for a nice light soothing soup and a couple of buns etc to share.

This restaurant offers Chinese snacks, and the taste is okay. The decoration of the restaurant is simple. I bought 2 pancake (煎饼果子)here, but there was no coriander and chopped green onion inside, and the taste was not very good. Won't go again.

Awesome food and service. Really friendly staff. They do a special mapo tofu steamed bun that isn't always on the menu but if is, definitely get it.

New dumpling place in Highland Park behind the Burger King. They have dumplings as well as other side dishes. I tried the tofu skin and it was quite nice. The dumplings themselves are also quite nice. they have bottles of soy sauce and chilli sauce on a nearby table. It is self service so you will need to get your own tea by the table near the counter. Chopsticks and bowls are on the same table as the sauces near the back.
