   I struggled for so long trying to find a good hairdresser in Auckland who truly understands South Asian hair, so when my sister recommended Shekinah Studios, I was hopeful, and I’m so incredibly grateful I went. I got a balayage done and it honestly turned out better than I ever expected. The way Shekinah can colour correct and accurately judge how dyes will lift and blend with darker hair is amazing. You can tell she really knows her craft. On top of that, she was so sweet and genuinely took care of me throughout the whole appointment. Her service was exceptional from start to finish. I would highly recommend Shekinah to any women with darker hair who are looking for someone they can truly trust

   I knew my hair was going to be a challenge. 20+ years of dark box dye trying to cover my grey regrowth and then damaged from bleach trying to get it lighter so I was looking very orange! I now was ready to embrace my greys and wanted grey blending. I showed Shekinah my inspiration photo and she was so good at explaining the risks and what to expect being that my hair was so damaged and how she was going to try and achieve what I wanted. Well thank goodness she was up for the challenge because I couldn't have asked for a better result. She knows her stuff! If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Shekinah not just for my amazing hair that I absolutely love but also for being so damn nice!

   Shekinah is such a beautiful person with a lovely personality. This is the first time for me to go to Shekinah and she did an amazing job with my hair. Shekinah hair have their own hair studio so you will experience personalised one on one service. Shekinah also offers consultation and takes the time to listen to your hair needs and requirements.
