I had the lovely Priti doing my hair! I was skeptical about someone from a salon doing my hair, however, she made me feel so comfortable and took real good care of my hair. Used a hair mask and was gentle with my hair which I adored. Although I had to wait for an hour before being attended to, Priti was apologetic and did ensure I had a coffee of my choice, with an alternative milk option available and the toilet being available. We had good conversations and was such a pleasant experience. I have made another appointment to get my hair toned again next month so will be returning! Thank you Priti for looking after me.
I’ve never found a hair stylist… I’ve been a bit weird like that but Priti gave me the best haircut (not kidding) of my life last time hence I waited and now a repeat customer. I have enjoyed the cut and stopped straightening it so i could enjoy the flicks and waves that naturally suited and this time just trimmed it out. She naturally navigates, recommends and gives great tips, can’t recommend her more.
I’ve been going to Vivo for almost two years now, and I’ve been lucky enough to have my hair done by the absolutely amazing Shayal. From the very first appointment, she has completely transformed my hair and the way I feel about it. I came in with rustic black hair full of split ends, and through her incredible work and guidance, my hair has gone on such a beautiful journey from black, to purple, to red, to darker brown, to blonde, and now to the most gorgeous, cool shade of brown that I absolutely love! Shayal is not only an extremely talented and skilled hairdresser, but also someone I completely trust with my hair. Her suggestions are always spot-on, and she knows exactly what will suit me. Every time I walk out of the salon, I feel confident, happy, and in love with my new look. On top of her talent, she is such a lovely person and has become a wonderful friend to me over the years. For $375 I got a crooked haircut and left with dark brown hair, when I gave a picture of a lady with blonde ends. Pretty gutted.
Just had the best balayage ever! Priti was amazing and extremely attentive throughout the whole process. The colours blend so well and Nadia did a fabulous job styling at the end. Will definitely be coming back!
Thanks so much to Priti at Vivo Manukau. She managed to fix my hair which I had done 5 days prior at another Vivo salon. I have been going to Vivo regularly (every 5 - 8 weeks) for the past couple of years now, but the appointment I had 5 days prior did not represent the reference photo. Unfortunately I had to pay around $450 to get this sorted after paying around $295 just 5 days before.
My review is mixed. Bc while my hairstylist was lovely from a customer service standpoint my hair was not cute. I had asked for layers and showed her some reference pictures. She said she could do it but I left with 2/3 of my hair shoulder length and the rest in the middle of my back. She had layered it so short and heavy on top so the bottom layers looked so sparse and thin. Then I had to pay $200+ for it. And because she was so nice I couldn’t even tell her it looked bad when she had finished. And before this the person I talked to on the phone to book my appointment seemed really rushed and hurried me off the phone. Then when I went in for my appointment they said their was no booking and that I never made a booking. Pretty much saying it was my fault. Anyways I went to another salon a couple months later after it had grown out to fix it for like $60 bucks.
Excellent work done by Resh and the team. Always very welcoming and made me feel comfortable during my appointment. Professionals who know what they are doing. Love the outcome of my hair. It was exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend
