   We decided to try this spot based on its high ratings, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the $23 lunch special (noodles and a beer) was a saving grace, the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The food and service were average at best, and the chicken burger felt small and overpriced compared to nearby competitors. The biggest issue was a lack of attention to detail: I requested a burger with no sauce, but because I declined the "bang bang" sauce, the kitchen took it upon themselves to add a different sauce instead of leaving it plain. While they did replace the meal, the delay meant we had to eat separately rather than enjoying our lunch together. To top it off, we were served our food and told to enjoy, yet had to source the cutlery ourselves from another table. Sadly, we won't be rushing back.

   I love this place! The servers are lovely and accommodating, the food is always delicious (especially the Thai green curry and the Waterfront mussels!) The menu is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is amazing - it feels like a little escape from Auckland. Highly recommend.

   Today My beautiful daughter and Grandaughter walked around the remains of GULF HARBOUR COUNTRY CLUB! As it was now lunch time we visited the village and decided to eat and have refreshments at “ THE WATERFRONT” Asian Fusion Restaurant! SUPER WOW! service, outdoor and indoor seating, absolutely the best fish and chips and other very tasty dishes including lunch time specials, great value and delishiness! So impressive! Our waitress was especially charming, even poured my zero alcohol beer! She came and checked on us to check if we were all fine! We certainly were! Best time ever and sunny even. I would recommend The WATERFRONT to all discerning diners wanting a beautiful place to refresh, quite romantic good place to impress on a big date! Arthur C. Charlton west Auckland NZ

   Loved this place… such a hidden gem , great range of cocktails and Asian fusion food is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely and friendly staff great view if you choose the right table. Anyone wanna enjoy water views with great food and drinks should definitely come here.

   Just had our first takeaway experience at the Waterfront. We tried the pork wontons, the pad see ew, and the naughty pig. Everything was delicious. Good portion sizes, and the quality of food was a cut well above other offerings in the area. We will definitely have to try the dine in experience, and no doubt we will be back for more! So happy to have such a great place nearby!

   Food, deserts and drinks were amazing!! Would highly recommend. Definitely try the pork ribs and crispy chicken cashew nut....but what made the evening was friendly staff! well worth a visit for some real deal asian food!

   Great food in a wonderful setting. Having never ventured to Gulf Harbour before we decided to visit The Waterfront tonight after it popped up on my FB feed last week as being opened and new with a great Asian infusion menu and I'm so glad we made the trip down. The food is lovingly prepared by some great chefs and the servers are attentive, despite being busy. The lamb, fell off the bone and the level of spice was just right for every member of our table, all trying something different and enjoying every mouthful. We will definitely be visiting again. If you are local it's a great place to hang out and enjoy the evening. Thank you.
