   I have started going to The Gentry in Commercial Bay recently due to my previous barber and good friend of 10+ years having to take a break from work to take care of his family. The first time I booked with Sollie, and he gave me a skin fade my old barber would have been proud of. Today, I accidentally booked in the Shortland Street location, but the Commercial Bay team were still able to fit me in after a short wait despite my mistake. Adrian gave me a cut this time, and not only am I very happy with the cut, I had one of my favourite conversations I've had in quite some time (I spent almost an hour in the chair). I'm very happy to have found a reliable barber after trying a few different places since losing my old barber, and I couldn't recommend the team at The Gentry Commercial bay any higher.    Been coming here for awhile and I’d go so far as to say they do the best trims in Auckland. On the occasions I haven’t been able to get in, I’ve either been disappointed or simply not had the service of the Gentry. For a central Auckland cut, the price is reasonable but the service is what makes it. P.s. Rachel is the best!

   Last week was my first time at The Gentry, and the algorithm matched me with Billy. I had long hair and was looking for a change, so I was a bit nervous. I showed Billy the haircut I wanted, and not only did he replicate it perfectly, but he also made it even better with some great tips. He’s truly amazing! I’m a tourist in NZ, but I will definitely book an appointment with Billy again next time I visit. It was an outstanding experience!

   Got a medium fade and trim from Rachael!!! It was my first time going to the gentry and as soon as I entered she made me and my partner feel welcome throughout my haircut. Her professionalism was amazing, as well as her barber work. made me look like a brand new person and boosted my confidence through the roof! The attention to detail with the trim and fade was outstanding work done by her.
