   I had the worst piece of fried fish in my life ever here. The moment I bite a piece I had an appalling sharp shooting pain in my forehead similar to a brain freeze. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was told it was dog fish and this is what it tasted like, but it was without doubt completely rotten. It put me off ever risking eating fish and chips in NZ ever again.

   I had made this review before and for some reason it’s been deleted ? Obviously a red flag and you should take full accountability. Absolutely appalling. I had ordered a chicken burger and this is what the patty looked like. Honestly so disgusting. Look at the fat still raw. I have never had a burger with fat still On it? Every time I go pass the place I am disgusted at how they can serve food like this? Please do better.

   One of the best deep fried fish I have tried and still good up until this day! Just grab the fish of the day. No fishy smell, batter is crispy without greasy taste (probably due to using clean oil?) they are nice & hot! Goes well with cold ketchup from the fridge. You feel me? Go on, give it a try! You won’t regret it!

   The hot dog had a LOT of sauce put onto it which is so satisfying. And the fish of the day? So good and very large in size furthermore, good quality salt. I took like 2 bites from the photo and I ate the hotdog, couldn’t help it. Overall: very delicious AND reasonable for its price

   Had a takeaway from Sherwood Takeaways 3 weeks ago. Was so impressed with the quality of the meal we returned tonight to repeat the same meal. Not disappointed. Again the fish and chips were excellent. Snapper fresh and batter did not take over the fish. 2 Mussels very well cooked a good size and again batter was appropriate. Will definitely make this a repeat takeaway for us.

   We had heard this was under new management with fresh new premises so decided to give it a go for our Monday night supper. The food was excellent! Good portion sizes and really tasty too! This will definitely be our 'go to place' for Fish n chips in Browns Bay.

   Excellent take aways. Crumbed fish was beautifully cooked, the nicest we have ever had. Spring rolls delicious and were filled with lots of ingredients and very good value. Will definitely be using she would take aways again.
